Why do you need one, I think is the point, but that's another thread.

As for the GitP board, the really disgusting thing about it is that they can sit around and justify genocide all day, but if I were to follow my impulse and wander in there to tell them off for doing so, I would be banned. A sad commentary on Rich Burlew's priorities, but there it is.

Anyway, V just went over the edge, as was the fiends' plan all along. The agreement binds her to each of their hells for as long as she maintains the link, but her acts under the link will consign her to the lower planes in the afterlife anyway, so they actually get her for all eternity. Show of hands; who saw that coming?

It's pretty typical for commercial boards and along with the giant populations of imbeciles and moral lepers, the reason I avoid most of them.

Yes, very obvious and it could be even sneakier. They didn't specify sending V to hell, just that they get V for an equal amount of time. That means they could conceivably use V to commit additional atrocities on the Prime Material, acts for which V would bear some guilt for willingly entering negotiations with the fiends.
It's not that I'm unforgiving, it's that most of the people who wrong me are unrepentant assholes.

Been a while trying to get to it, but the new comic is up.

And V has no excuses for his actions now, it seems.

PS: I wonder whether this will silence those nut-bars on the GitP forums who were saying that genocide was a good act... probably not, though.

New comic. Get it before the server gets wanged. And yeah, that's about what I expected.

Yeah, I think V is about to really lose control of the other two as his/her mate goes ballistic.

And V makes his choice. I doubt anyone expected him to let go of the power he just gained; at least he didn't harm his family before flying off.

I never expected him to harm his family, it would be to much of a U turn. As it stands though, V is never coming back from this. And even when it's over, he's done.

Poor V got taken down a peg there. All that trouble and all those bridges burned for no good reason.

I admit I laughed at his reaction after all that bad-ass posing (though at the same time it's tragic what had to come the installment before this one).

Although, this may push him even further over the edge. :(

Gonna be completely honest... Kinda worried that V is gonna burn down the fleet now...

Something's gonna die, regardless.

644 is an homage strip. Never heard of the guy before, and considering his achievements, it's a damn shame.

Sorry, bit of an aside here...

What does one have to do to get some kind of moderation of the threads in the Giant's forum? There's a guy there, David Argall who has ranted and nit-picked for multiple pages now. And after I called him on it enough, he's basically admitted to trolling and nothing seems to be happening. Is anyone here a member who can tell me what's up with this? :???:

He's not breaking any rules. Remember, their rule scheme is fucktarded.

Really? Even admitting to trolling is not a rules violation? That really is useless. I guess this board is just a waste of time.

The moderators haven't even answered my PMs. Perhaps they are too busy merging random threads with superficially similar topics. :P

You know I am reminded of those wise words...

Your approval fills me with shame.

How do you feel now V?

Ha ha! One upped again.

But the two Evil mages are still tied to him and he still owes the Fiends a continually increasing debt. Will he break the link now?

I don't think so. He will feel the need to justify to himself that he has made the pact to prove his ZOMG UBER power. And so his debt will accumulate.

And so, Haley earns a point to her Dark Side score, and Jenny gets kicked to the proverbial curb.

I liked how Elan was willing to stand up to V even with his newfound power and the previous threats.

EDIT: apparently, no comment was made for the last installment. :/

Well that wasn't surprising in the least. I fully expect this to come back to screw Haley over eventually.

I approve.
