Whoo! No need to burn willpower for Aziz yet, then.

*looks at Rhoenix's character sheet.*

What the hell? Where is your Courage stat? What is Compassion? The relevant Virtues for humanity are Self-Control and Conscience, with Courage.

I'm...really not sure how I managed to confuse the Exalted virtues with the vampire Humanity virtues that badly. That's hilarious.

In any case, fixed - sorry about that.

OK, just to keep track of Blood Spent:

Dex +3 (5)
Str +2 (4)
2 rounds Celerity

7 Blood Total.

Spending the Willpower to stay and fight.
Spending another blood for Celerity this round.

Cranking Strength up to 7 plus Potence.

Potence, for when you need to arm wrestle a beserk and win.

For reference, due to GM revelation, all reference to Halberd in prior posts involving my retainers is hence forth changed to "Glaive"

Why "Glaive", a word that can mean a sword or a polearm instead of halberd?

Because Halberds did not exist until the later 13th century, and a Glaive allows the same functions.

Not true. The weapon isn't widespread until the 14th Century with the well trained mass infantry forces to make good use of them and the increasing use of heavy armour that made them worthwhile to use, but the weapon existed well before that. See "Njal's Saga".

The spearlike version of the glaive (the word frequently refers to swords, it's derived from "gladius") isn't used like a halberd, it's used like a spear.

I need to get me some of that...
8 Strength is pretty much my limit unless I want to keep spending blood every three turns. But Potence... [Kayle]Shiny![/Kayle]

Burning a Willpower point to ignore the effects of Dread Gaze entirely.

Burning two more blood to increase str to 5, and dex to 6.

Just burned 2 more blood, Strength is maxed at 10. That's 8 for the combat spent. Doubt I'll be spending anymore till I can top off...

Just a note for you Rhoenix, it's a delay, not a complete nullification. That does mean you won't be at a penalty for your next attack but if the power is used again you'll need to spend another willpower to not flee from him.

Hence the "called shot: face."

Also, I edited in the path Awakening the Steel's five abilities on my character sheet for my reference, so I don't have to keep asking Charon.

BTW, you have to make a Willpower roll (difficulty : 8) to spend Willpower to resist Presence. I have, in my time, established a history of horribly botching that particular roll with characters who have obscene Willpower.

O-kay. Charon, want me to roll?

He might very well have determined that already. There's lots of potentially game mechanical stuff that we haven't seen (but doesn't mean didn't happen) rolls for. Which is good. I'm just bringing it up as a reminder it's not easy even with killer Willpower.

Trust me, I've fucked this roll up enough times to know.
