5 successes to cause damage, 3 successes to avoid taking damage yourself. Great job!
And the boar rolls.... 2 successes.
That means 3 more damage. 8 total Damage. Yeah, that boar looks ready to fall over.
Now we Pause as we wait for Havoc to come back.

As a Reminder, I give you the following:
To Hit:
Firearms : Dex + Firearms
Melee : Dex + Melee
Hand-To-Hand (or claw) Dex+Brawl (May be more or less than diff 6, such as for a Kick or a Bite.)
Damage is the number of Dice you roll. Each success at Diff 6 is one Health Level's worth of Damage.
Firearms : (By Weapon Type)
Melee : (By Weapon Type)
Hand to Hand:
Claws : Str + 1
Bite : Str + 1
Punch : Base Str
Kick : Str + 1
Dodging:
A dodge may be announced at any time, simply by declaring you're attempting to dodge. You roll your Dex + Dodge (diff 6).
You may dodge more than one person's attack, but each extra Dodge adds +1 to the Difficulty.
Soak Roll.
As a Werewolf, you have unnatural toughness. When hit by anything but Silver, you may attempt to roll your straight Stamina (Diff 6) in an attempt to reduce the damage you've taken.
Neither Damage nor Soak rolls may be botched, only failed. Botched Attack or Dodge rolls suck.
If you are Incapacitated, you may roll your Rage Dice (Diff 8) and heal one wound per success, even if they are Aggravated Wounds. This has the risk of both Botching, and of Frenzy. Otherwise, you heal one Non-Aggravated health level per Turn while in Glabro, Crinos, or Hispo. Homids heal in Lupus, Lupus heal in Homid, but not in their Breed Forms. Metis heal in all forms.
STAT CHANGES
Homid: Human.
Stat Changes: None, just base Attributes as per sheet
Glabro: Near-Human. Aka "Cave Man" or "Mr Hyde"
Stat Changes: Str +2, Stam +2, Manip -1, App -1
Crinos: The WolfMan. Aka "WarForm". Metis Breed Form
Stat Change: Str +4 Stam +3, Dex +1, Manip -3, App 0 (too scary to be pretty)
Hispo: The Near Wolf. Aka the DireWolf or Primal Wolf.
Stat Change : Str +3, Stam +3, Dex +2, Manip -3, Bite Damage +1, Perc Diff -1.
Lupus: Lupine. Wolf. PUPPY! (may get you killed)
Stat Change: Str +1, Stam +2, Dex +2 Manip -3, Perc Diff -2.
Q. How do I determine if my actions are sucessful?
A. While I will to make this more RolePlay than RollPlay, when I call for a roll you will need to roll a number of 10-sided dice equal to the appropriate Attribute and Ability, trying to equal or better the Difficulty Target Number for that action. For example, to notice the person sneaking up on you, it would be Perception + Alertness, Difficulty 6. If your dice roll a 6 4 2 8 7, you have three numbers that equal or better 6, and thus three sucesses.
Q. What happens if I don't get any sucesses?
A. You fail the action. If the above roll had been 4 2 5 3 2, you would not notice the sneaker. However, there is also the RULE OF ONE. If your roll was 6 4 1 8 7, then the 1 will cancel out the 8 (the highest sucess), meaning you only have 2 sucesses instead of 3. If you rolled 4 1 5 3 2, where there are no sucesses, then the roll is a 'Botch'. A Botch means not only did you NOT see the sneak, he's gotten close enough to steal your wallet or worse at the Storyteller's whim. Roll all 1s, and you are fucked.

Kicking is difficulty base of 7
Bites are difficulty 5
You can call shots, for bonus damage or effects, but the difficulty goes up.
Always shoot vampires in limb joints with big guns, the heart, or the head. Otherwise your bullets aren't going to do much.

All right, I'm sorry guys, but I have to work very late tonight. I will try to post what/when I can here.

All right, please bear with me if I do this wrong...
Instant-shift to natural form (Crinos) and a called shot to the head of that boar with Sophie's 9mm Parabellum (lead, not silver, I'm afraid).
Rolling to hit: Firearms (2) + Base Dexterity (3) + Crinos Dex Bonus (1)

Nice going havoc. Here's how things break down.
Headshots generally have a difficulty of around 8 or so at close range. Typically you'll get 2 dice of bonus damage.
9mm base damage is 4 lethal.
So if everything goes well you have an extra success for an extra die of damage.
4+1+2=7 damage dice. That's if Lady T uses those numbers. She might rule that more or less is required.

Since he only got One Success, I'm not giving him bonus damage. Still, he can roll the 4 base +2 HeadShot damage.
That's 6d10, Havoc. Roll it, please.

He has two 10s and a 9 and one 1. That's two successes, unless it dodged or something.LadyTevar wrote:Since he only got One Success, I'm not giving him bonus damage. Still, he can roll the 4 base +2 HeadShot damage.

I'm rolling the six dice as prescribed. I can roll a seventh later if it turns out to warrant it.

At Cyncat's insistence, I am rolling the seventh die. Not sure if we are to use it or not:

Now that's a damn fine shooting roll followed up by a really crappy soak roll.
And to think someone was worried about me kill hogging.

Ok... Havoc? You just blew the head off the pig.
Unfortunately... the boar's not alone in there. You just revealed the Bane inside it. It's a horrific eyeless-maw of far too many sharp fangs, glowing a sickly puce-green with a reddish aura around it.
Please write up your action in the game thread

And this, children, is why Banes are Bad.
1 Rage point to heal to full
2 Rage for extra attacks.
SeesFaces gets kicked-- Diff 7
4 Successes
Alex gets gored -- Diff 6
1 Success
Arianne get trampled -- Diff 7
2 Successes
Dex + Dodge to avoid the hit... meet or beat the successes the boar got. If you got hit, here's the damage:
Damage to Sees Faces
5 Successes
Damage to Alex
2 Successes
Damage to Ari
4 Successes
Each success is one Health Level damage to you. If you're hit roll your Soak dice (Stamina, Diff 6) meet or beat the successes to ignore the damage.
