Sorry, I am temporarily dropping out. I've got a lot of shit going on and it's effecting my desire to play Breathes-the-Winds. If/Once things settle down I might come back. But for now I haven't posted in a week, and I still can't bring myself to post. So I'm gonna solve the problem by taking a break from the game. Tev if you want to just jumble time a bit and have it that Adahy left with Galileo that shouldn't cause too much trouble. He really hasn't done anything since the restaurant.

Cyncat has reminded me ALL GIFTS need a teacher, either a Garou or a spirit. Those outside your breed/tribe/auspice are harder because you really have to work to convince the teacher to show you how it's done.

Just a few bits on WoD combat.

1) Everyone rolls initiative. That's a 1d10 + Wits+Dex.

2) Everyone declares actions, from lowest initiative to highest.

3) Highest goes first. Everyone takes their first actions in order. Then everyone takes their second actions in order. And so on.

Actions

Everyone has one action (movement doesn't count as an action). Swinging a sword, firing a burst of gunfire, dodging, using some Gifts all count as an action.

Changing Actions

You can change your mind and do a different action, but unless you're changing to a defensive action like a dodge you take a +1 difficulty penalty.

Incidental Actions

Things like movement, regeneration, and changing shape don't cost an action.

Multiple Actions

There are two ways to get multiple action. They cannot be combined.
If you declare more actions than you have Dex or Wits, you take a +3 penalty to all actions.

Number One

Splitting your dice pool. Declare X number of actions. First Action takes a penalty of X number of dice, X+1 for second, etcetera.

Examples

2 actions. First action is at a 2 dice penalty, Second is at a 3 dice.

3 actions. First action is at a 3 dice penalty, Second is at 4 dice, Third at 5 dice.

Number Two

Spend Rage for extra actions. You can spend up to half your maximum Rage, round down, in a round on extra actions. So Werewolves with 4 or 5 Rage can get 2 extra Rage actions if they spend the points. There are no penalties to any of these actions. This is one of the reasons Garou are very, very scary.

Ok... More Info on Combat:

Attack rolls: All Target Numbers start at a Diff 6. Environment and people's actions may increase or decrease that Difficulty.

To Hit:
Firearms : Dex + Firearms
Melee : Dex + Melee
Hand-To-Hand (or claw) Dex+Brawl

Damage is the number of Dice you roll. Each success at Diff 6 is one Health Level's worth of Damage.
Firearms : (By Weapon Type)
Melee : (By Weapon Type)
Hand to Hand:
Claws : Str + 1
Bite : Str + 1
Punch : Base Str
Kick : Str + 1

Dodging:
A dodge may be announced at any time, simply by declaring you're attempting to dodge. You roll your Dex + Dodge (diff 6).
You may dodge more than one person's attack, but each extra Dodge adds +1 to the Difficulty.

Soak Roll.
As a Werewolf, you have unnatural toughness. When hit by anything but Silver, you may attempt to roll your straight Stamina (Diff 6) in an attempt to reduce the damage you've taken.

Neither Damage nor Soak rolls may be botched, only failed. Botched Attack or Dodge rolls suck.

If you are Incapacitated, you may roll your Rage Dice (Diff 8) and heal one wound per success, even if they are Aggravated Wounds. This has the risk of both Botching, and of Frenzy.

Otherwise, you heal one Non-Aggravated health level per Turn while in Glabro, Crinos, or Hispo. Homids heal in Lupus, Lupus heal in Homid, but not in their Breed Forms. Metis heal in all forms.
