She passes Wright on the way in, big blue eyes stare up at him as she smiles.

"You gonna make the show, Wright?"

She has been drinking. A lot. But not enough that it will inhibit her performance.

"I'll be there," he says, unselfconsciously peeling off his clothes and leaving them behind him as he walks. "Go make us some money." By the time he reached the shower, he was stark naked.

He turned the water scaldingly hot, rinsing away the blood and other things even more unpleasant in the contemplation. He stared at his hand, flexing the fingers.

Okay, enough of this shit. So the night had started badly. He was still 'alive', still the best, and he could turn it all his way with a good run of luck.

Stepping out of the shower, he toweled down quickly, then got dressed and returned to the party.

He came in toward the end of the song, hanging around the back of the crowd. Again, they watched her, not him.

But this time, he wasn't going to get the loss of the limelight get to him. Not when he could claim this prize as his own.

He watched the performance, letting himself drift with the music. It was easy to let go and fall into it, let the music take him away from all his current emergencies and hassles.

Damn, last week had been nice.

She sings and dances. She has pent energy tonight. Who knows where it has come from. With the ordeal she has been through, she should be so exhausted she can't move. But here she is, feeling like she is trying to climb inside the music just to get it out of her.

After a few more songs, she has the piano man play a few songs on his own. Time to wet her whistle. She makes her way through the crowd, and towards Wright. She hopes he will be pleased with her. She calmed down the sheep, and they will keep coming back.

Maybe he will have a drink with her.

He moves through the crowd, grabs her by the waist and lifts her into the air, a broad grin on his face as he pivots, displaying her to the crowd.

Father leo finally reached Wright's place, the scent of blood in the air.

"Oh hell" he said as he entred the establishment Seeing a girl sing and dance in suggestive manner through the crowd. He was outraged. If it were possible to see steam coming from his ears, rest assured, it was there.

She waves and does her duty to her fans and twirls to wrap her arms around Wright.

Not true. He was going to have to fill up, AGAIN, soon. He suddenly tensed up, sensing Chicken Boy's approach through the crowd.

Okay, Chicken Boy was pissed. She could sense that Wright was sinking into that feral state again. He shoved her aside, none-too-carefully, as he cranked up his Presence and prepared to browbeat the intruder on his domain.

Or just beat him in general, if needed.

He advanced forward warily, tilted his head and pointedly not meeting Chicken Boy's gaze.

"Chicken Boy... long time no see."

She turns to face the hiss and ...her arms lower. Her cheeks blush. Oh no, a priest was the last thing she expected to see tonight. Suddenly she feels guilt. A lot of guilt. She has made MANY mistakes tonight.
