#1 DS saw Thor

holy shit.
In a few, non-spoilery words, it was awesome. The movie going experience was unfortunatly ruined by a loud braying jackass which had somehow decided to sit two seats down from me, even though the entire row was empty (I went to a mid afternoon, non-3d showing). The visuals were excellent, Chris Hemsworth was a FAR better Thor than I thought he would be, Anthony Hopkins was just excellent as the Allfather, the Frost Giants looked awesome, and Loki.....
Loki...Loki....what can we say about Loki that isn't just great? From the choice of actor, to the way he was played and written, just smacked of excellent.
The visuals were all well done, Asgard looked wonderful, Jotunheim was subtle cold and dark, The Warriors Three and the Lady Sif looked at home in both Asgard and Jotunheim, but looked kinda just...a little cartoony while on Earth.
Like most Marvel Studios movies, this is a excellent Adaptation of the Source material.
I decided to try to keep this review spoiler free, but yeah, go see it.
