Ah. Um. Well, here we go...
My conception of the power claw that the Immortal God Emperor of Humanity wears. Most other depictions-- like this
have them as being more talon-like, but I was doodling in Design class the other day and had a brainwave, resulting in these...
Self-explanatory. Colors are shite, I need a more extensive range in my color pencils... the skirt I'll probably get rid of, based it on this figure of Sanguinus. That's a model thing though, and such a long skirt would be a serious encumbrance anyway, so I'm ditching it probably. Of course, this was just a quick sketch for my Drawing II class, so yeah...
The eyes are all wrong... *grumble*
But anyway! Thanks for input, this thread might get periodic updates if I get enough encouragement...

Thanks... I prefer my inks as well, the colors are mostly only because I didn't want to use my ink pens up too fast. That, and i already had my pencils handy, so yeah...frigidmagi wrote:That claw is niccccee. I like it man. May I suggest that you do black and whites for awhile?

Did a palm-up version, with the claw folded into a fist. Rax asked in the chat the other day how that worked-- would the claws puncture the hand and all that-- and the answer is they actually fit into a rack, of sorts, which loops across the base of the fingers. The thumb doesn't fit, obviously; and normally it'd be sticking out when punched with, but if I'd drawn it right it wouldn't have fit the page...
Anyway! Enjoy...
Oh, and yes, there is a power conduit running into the base of the thumb. It joins into the other 'fingers' though, to provide power.

Chaos Marine. Any questions?
I know the shoulder plates aren't done... oh well.

Shouldn't his legs be wider or something? No offense meant, you're a better artist than I am. It's just he looks... Top heavy.

I suppose you're right. Chalk that up to the melta. there too. I'm not really used to drawing the whole body... I'm more used to the smaller bits like hands and the like. Go figure.
