#1 Iceland: Ice and Volcanoes [NSF56K]

Post by The Grim Squeaker »

I spent 5 day straight hiking in Iceland, and 2 days in the Capital city of Reykjaavic. It rained heavily for most of the time, there wasn't any electricity, and roving bands of pillaging vikings limited my picture taking, but a few hours of sun allowed for superb pictures in that beautiful land.

Tolkien based LOTR on Iceland and it's volcanic obsidian ash covered landscape. One can see why Peter Jackson wanted to shoot the movie there.

Man had always assumed that he was more intelligent than dolphins because he had achieved so much: the wheel, New York, wars while all the dolphins had ever done was muck about in water having a good time.
But the dolphins had always believed that they were far more intelligent than man for precisely the same reasons

I am very envious of not only your world travels, but of your skill and sight with a camera. Keep it up, they are amazing.

"Negative, I am a meat popsicle."
