#1 Warhammer Fiction/information?

Post by Devonie »

I'm probably posting this in the wrong place - if so, moderators please feel free to put it where it belongs!

I've been playing Warhammer Online:Age of Reckoning for about 6 months now, and feel inspired to write the story of one of my characters; unfortunately, I really don't know a lot about the backstory of the Warhammer world.

Can anyone point me in the direction of sources of information and perhaps fiction that I could read (preferably ol, since I'm a poor single mom LOL)?

TIA,
Devonie

There is a lot of material, both in Army Books that are part of the game as well as in Black Library novels.

I don't know if there is any online information source which is reliable enough, but Wikipedia has a number of short articles.

I don't know any really good online sources. If you have questions, I can try to answer them.

Don't forget, you and frigid wrote me a fairly good summary of the Warhammer universe.

Glad you liked it. As a fairly developed setting, there's a lot of material. The Green Ronin RPG books are particularly fluff rich.

Ask any questions you might have. I'll be glad to answer.

EDIT: It looks like the crash I had a while back wiped out any copies I had.

It's a Warhammer wiki. It's fairly basic stuff, and of course it's a wiki with all the information reliability that goes along with it.
