Assuming you could have a superpower, what would it be? Do you want an awesome healing factor like Wolverine, a supersoldier serum like Captain America? Do you want to shoot web out of your arms and swing around, or do you want to fly?

Give reasons for your choice.

The Fogger.

Fogs any transparent pane on touch. Think of the POWER!

I think I'd like to be able to control the weather, a la Storm from the X-Men. Then maybe I could do something about this accursed 24/7 sunshine.

Apocalypse can shapeshift? I thought he could only increase his size.

Actually, to be truthful, I didn't even know what ol' Blue Lips could do. I thought he was just one of those bastards who wants to rape you with a two-by-four using your own hand. Er, by that I mean he's a mean bastard. Age of Apocalypse anyone?

Once I read some Hong-Kong published comics, about some bad guy who was incarnated by some Chinese Sky Demon.

See, when the bad guy is fighting, a demon-shaped aura is formed, shrouding and enveloping his body. Visually, it is like Star Wars holo-shroud on the following pic:

Image

Except the holo-shroud is opague (it's supposed to cloak the original person), while the demon aura is transparent. Also, the demon aura is much bigger.

Now the cool thing is, the demon aura always follows every movement made by the incarnated guy; if the guy punches, the demon also punches; if the guy writhes in pain, the demon also writhes in pain, and so on.

Naturally, if I have superpower, the demon aura described above is a must.

That's why I love the idea of the Phoenix (Marvel Comics), although the character is shrouded by a bird-shaped aura instead of a demon. Nevertheless, if I can use existing comicbook power, I definitely want to be a Phoenix incarnation.

I go for Wolverine. He's effectively immortal, and can survive being shot in the head, and having every single bone in his body plated with metal. The only problem is the Amnesia; I'll keep a diary.

Hmmm

Either Telekinesis or the ability my superhero character had from an RPG.

Temporal Alteration. Speed up time, slow it down, stop it, walk outisde the timestream. fun fun stuff...

orr....

Entrophy. Be able to control the random chaos around you. Stop light is always green when you pull up. Always just happen to hit that 7 in craps...

WoD Marauder capabilities, without that pesky loss of sanity.

Of course, the most appropriate power, as any will tell you, is pyrokinetics.

The power Cosmic :wanker:  (Galactus, the silver surfer).

However I would prefer Doomsdays ability to adapt to anything (pain, kinetic attacks, acid..) and come back from the dead, just stick me in a nuclear core, wait a week and I'll be stronger than old Supes

Man had always assumed that he was more intelligent than dolphins because he had achieved so much: the wheel, New York, wars while all the dolphins had ever done was muck about in water having a good time.
But the dolphins had always believed that they were far more intelligent than man for precisely the same reasons

I want Ryoko's abilities from Tenchi Muyo. The whole fading through walls and the energy-laser power she can summon up is neat. There's a whole lot of mischief one could make with those abilities. I'm not sure about the tail though...where the hell did she get a monkey tail from anyways? :???:

Telekinesis. I dont mean moving large objects either. I want to be able to manipulate things on the molecular level... granted not individuals... but do things like speed up the movement of large groups of molecules and cause the air to heat up massivly, shit like that.

Plus the usual large scale manipulations that would allow me to fly and break walls with my mind

The tail is an attachment to her dress. It's a robotic fashion statement.

It seems I'm the only person here who likes the idea of living forever and being immune to gunshots, car crashes and what-have-you.

being immune to everything would defeat the purpose of adventure...hence why Q is always so darn bored with mortals and their petty squabbles...he doesn't have an effective hobby to keep him entertained  what fun is there in knowing what's going to happen?

Having lost a family member in a car crash that wasn't his fault, I'm partial to the idea of not dying randomly.

My favorite powers to date:

-Teleportation
-Phasing
-Flight
-Immortality

Immortality listed last because it's not so much a super-power, but hell, if I could have that, I damn well would take it first, so long as it's not retarded immortality (you age, but just can't die type of stuf).

*ah hah's* Ok ok! I figured out a serious one finally. I would like to beable to deal with peoples minds. You know, almost like hypnotizing, but also be able to read them telepathicly. WIth that of course one would be able to drop small thoughts in, but I'd have to remember to guard my own thoughts. That's why it seems like the best option for me.
there's still a bit of a challenge to it. Not strong, not weak, not someone to keep, no specified benefits to reap.
