A Jaghut Tyrant (Malazan books of the fallen) wakes up in Faerun and follows his natural instincts (That being to crush all things to his will and enslave them all).
Scenario 1)- The Weaekened Jaghut from "Gardens of the moon" without the Finnest
(And he can't regain his lost power).
Scenario 2) A fully powered Jaghut awakes.
S 3) A Jaghut Tyrant with an enslaved T'lan Imass Bonecaster awakes during the height of The Netheril Empire, all the Wizard kings are aware of the threat and have 3 days to prepare, and the Phaerimm will ally with them (Not to mention their other allies such as the Elves).

Man had always assumed that he was more intelligent than dolphins because he had achieved so much: the wheel, New York, wars while all the dolphins had ever done was muck about in water having a good time.
But the dolphins had always believed that they were far more intelligent than man for precisely the same reasons

Already answered at SD so I throw out the quick rundown.
1)Carves out a huge empire until defeated by enough mortals and gods
2) A normal Jaghut will retire to nice chunk of wilderness, build a tower, and not bother people. Occassionally it will encounter someone who mistakes it for an orc and then gets reduced to jelly. A Tyrant (Jaghut equivalent of psychopaths) will try to conquer.
3) Bloodbath with massive mortal and probably some divine casualties as well. Jaghut loses due to the shear size of the Faerunian pantheon and the ability of Ao to command them all.

It's not that I'm unforgiving, it's that most of the people who wrong me are unrepentant assholes.
