#1 Orcs VS Hobgoblins

I was going over my Monster Manuel and the thought hit me, we got two really good "horde" monsters floating around.
Hobgoblins, ordered, well trained, these guys live in a militant soceity that makes most militaries look peace loving. They triumph through solid displince.
Orcs, the boys like to fight and will take orders from anything stronger than them. They overrun their enemies via a combination of numbers, mindless aggression and individual toughness.
So which do the budding young darklords of this board prefer?

Although a WAAAAAGH!! would be great fun, casualties are usually a bit too high for my tastes and there's always the chance that someone bigger and meaner than me will come around.

*rocks and arrows fly from the cliffsides and well timed fireballs from my Legion of Terror: Magical Division target larger clumps
Or alternatively
"Oh look, the orcs are charging. General HobGob, order your troops to form a long shield wall. The middle is to do an organized retreat as the orcs hit them."
*And it is done. And the flanks collapse in and surround the horde... which is then butchered*

Scro horrifically fuck them both up. Don't fuck with uber-disciplined, steampunk-equipped orcs from space.

Orks. I don't like the idea of very disciplined, rather intelligent troops in large numbers directly below me. Unless I can be absolutely sure of their loyalty. I'll take the casualties over being supplanted.

Eh there are plenty of ways to avoid a revolt in the lower ranks. Cheif of those is to win big and not hog all the glory.

True. I woluld much rather sacrifice a few dozen virgins upon my altar of blood in order to learn the true-names of the abyssal lords, then forever bind them to my will.

Well I really can't decide, since both Orcs and Hobgoblins were easily defeated by my Dragonriders.
