#1 LotR Force Sub (RAR!): Mazzy Fentan replaces Frodo

Post by Narsil »

Okay, Frodo is magically replaced by Mazzy as the Ringbearer at the beginning of Elrond's council. Provided that Mazzy is accepted for the replacement of Frodo, can she manage this difficult task? She comes with all of her typical skills, but wears simple clothing, and has to rely on whatever resources Frodo would have had (Mithril Shirt, Sting, etc.).

Now, the question is: Can Mazzy succeed where Frodo did? And to what extent?

How telling us where Mazzy is from and who the hell she is?

For those of us who've not played Baldur's Gate 2:

She's a halfling paladin with red hair and a penchant for kneecap slicing.

Well, I think her inherent purity of thought and action might shield her similarly from the ring's corrupting power.

But certainly she outstrips Frodo in raw ability

I have to point out that purity of thought does not really mean anything. Even Gandalf would fall before the ring. Being pure is not a shield.

This is one of the more excentric (sp?) replacements I've seen so far but then it DOES come from a Brit
Mazzy from what point in SoA/ToB? Because if it's towards the end of ToB this could get really...interesting.

'Undead or alive, you're coming with me.'

Oh great. Now I have to fire ToB up again.
Thanks for the correction, Dakarne.
