#1 What's your favorite firearms?

Post by Kreshna Aryaguna Nurzaman »

Well, this is about firearms you love, not the ones you have; firearms that you'll definitely buy as soon as law (or money) permits.

Here's my list:

Handgun: either GLOCK 23 or Walther PPK. By the way, I always prefer autoloaders than revolvers.

SMG: Micro Uzi. Definitely.

Shotgun: Pancor Jackhammer.

Rifle: Walther WA2000 sniper rifle with flash surpressor.

Support weapon: Steyr AUG LMG (the light machine gun variant).

So be it. If saying "NO" means being alone, then to hell with love, with romance, with marriage, and all the shit life keeps pumping at me. I'll walk alone, but with freedom and a healed pride.

I think it should do nicely, actually. In fact, the whole "fire" part in "firearms" fits quite nicely... especially if the target is flammable.

My Choices:

Pistol: Beretta 92FS, because it's a gun I've actually fired, and I love it.

SMG: UMP-45; nothing says badass like a full-auto .45 variant of the MP5.

I'd rather differentiate between "rifle" and "assault rifle/carbine" here, because I'm like that.

Assault Rifle/Carbine: H&K G36 all the way, baby.

Rifle: H&K PSG-1.

Shotgun: Benelli M1 Tactical .12 gauge, it has the badassitude of a .12 gauge with a handy pistol grip, like an assault rifle's got.

Support Weapon: M79 grenade launcher, hell yeah!
"My access codes won't work."
"Let me try mine."

And, since Walper mentioned a nonexistant weapon, new category:

Fictional: That large, full-auto blaster rifle the Clonies used in ROTS. Ooh, yeah.

Well, if we're to add an Assault/Carbine class, I offer you my new
Assault Rifle/Carbine: Bofors AK5D or the new HK 416

Fictional: 998 model Godwyn pattern bolter with ammo counter, sinister/dexter locking mechanism, sickle magazine holding 30 rounds of .75 calibre bolts with diamantine tips, depleted deuterium core and mass reactive detonators. Fires 4 round bursts.

And the rest later! :)

Handgun: Colt M1911A1 or S&W Model 29 (Dirty Harry). Dad bought these when he was a police officer and has passed them down to me. Much shooting fun here.

SMG: Thompson SMG. Outdated, yes. But can you go wrong with a Browning?

Shotgun: Remington Model 870.

Rifle: M1 Garand/M14. Sure its heavier, but it nearly beats out the AK-47s in terms of reliability.

Support weapon: M60 machine gun. The MG43 made in America by Americans. Heh, good gun though, not quite as reliable as the M240, but its a bit lighter and recoil is less.

Fictional: BlasTech DL-44. Strong enough to punch through Stormtrooper armor, small enough to hide under your coat.
