Well, Considering I'm the Detective's Arch-Nemesis (I part time as the Demon's Head), I can tell you it's very hard to actually get off'd by him.

I've managed to stay alive for what...40 years now?

Didn't anybody get the memo about how us Bat people never kill? I freaking reanimated the Joker of all people when Richard beat him to death in 'Last Laugh'.

41 come June out of universe. 800 or something to that effect in. Granted, I wasn't around for most of that to try to kill you (which is something I rarely do and usually get prevented from when I try) but given the prevalence of time travel shenanigans in the DC Universe I wouldn't be surprised if I had at some point or other tried to stop you before I was born.

What? Why?

Was the writer on drugs? I mean Batman didn't reanimate Jason and he liked the little thug! Why on earth would he reanimate the Joker!?! He hates the Joker! It's the Joker who has a crush on him not the other way around! If someone killed the Joker, I could see Batman hunting the guy down and putting in jail but not bringing a fucking mass murdering serial killer back from the grave. If that happened, you think there would be heroes going after the Bat, he's clearly gone around the bend!

1. Reanimating Jason was not an option (and I'm not so sure about me liking him, either). By the time I got there, he was dead. Not Emergency Room he's on the brink of death but we can still save him dead, having been blown up by a considerable size explosive charge after having been beaten up for a considerable length of time with a crowbar dead.
Reanimating the Joker, however, was possible.
2. Remember that memo apparently nobody got? We do not kill. At all. Ever. Yes, it's abysmally stupid, and yes, countless lives would have been saved if we did, and the world would probably have given us medals for it. That doesn't change the fact that unless the New 52 reboot has finally done away with the stupid No Killing rule, we're bound by it.

Hi. Welcome to LA, be very suspicious of any board member who seems overly friendly, and never ever admit to being an organ donor.

Ignore all this. We're all VERY VERY happy to see you. Could you please finish your new member identification process by supplying us with your blood type and the status of your kidneys?

I'm O+, and both of my kidneys are unsuitable for transplant (not only would I like to keep them, but due to medications I've been on they are in fact unsuitable for transplant - same with almost all of my other organs).

Edit: Besides, if anything happens to me, I've tasked Big Steve with avenging me.

And with a Multiverse-spanning TARDIS there's oh so many ways to avenge. Collapsing galaxies, chains from dwarf stars, imprisonment on the Source Wall, being dropped in the Winter lands of Faerie, and even being forced to Meet the Meat.

Meh, if you ever piss Frig off just toss some raw meat to the side and run away for a bit.

Works every time.

I mean...

::waves:: Greetings, fellow humans!

I'm a friend of General Havoc's and have been invited here with the promise of a dragon. I'm pretty sure I can't trust anything GH says, but the shiny shiny dragon wiki was kind of convincing. So, (against my better judgment?) here I am!

Greetings and welcome!

Are you a civic-minded citizen who agreed to be an organ donor?

No particular reason, I just find the question to be an excellent icebreaker. Also, do you happen to know your blood type?

I do happen to be capable of scrolling up in a thread, so I'm going to go ahead and take advice offered to others and NEVER EVER admit that I'm an organ donor.

Even if I WERE to admit I'm an organ donor, I certainly wouldn't tell you that my blood type is probably A+ or AB+, nor would I tell you that I'm relatively young and healthy and all my organs are in good working order.

In fact, if I were to slip and mention any of those things, you might rightly assume that I've not done so through carelessness, but rather that I've set a trap for you.
