Proud of your parents?

I remember an occasion when my dad had had a few to drink, a rare occasion as he has a heart condition and drinks rarely. We where sitting watching Match Of The Day and shooting the shit. He told me that a parents job is to make sure the children turn out better than the parents, that they got more opportunities to better themselves. My siblings and I have turned out pretty well. We all got a deacent education and we've got good jobs.

For years both my parents have worked damn hard to ensure we never went without. We may never have been rich but I know no matter whatever I've done they supported me and loved me. What more can I do than show them the same.

My parents don't do any thing special, my dad works as a sprayer for Bombardier and my mum is a cleaner in a school, but both of them have made me damn proud.
