#1 Nit back in the hospital
Tev just texted me to tell me that Nit is in the hospital again for pain and vomiting. He's hooked up to morphine right now and they're looking to admit him shortly. They're trying to do some more tests but early diagnosis are pointing towards gall bladder or liver. I'll update when I hear more.

Update: nit is being admitted to the hospital as soon as a bed opens. Tests say the liver isno worse than usual so its not that, the gallbladder is inconclusive right this moment. Pain is less but w morphine that's expected.

Nitram, I command you to get better on pain on having Hornet annoy you endlessly.

You know guys, I'm pretty sure that's not how this works. I mean, I know I'm not a doctor, nurse or in any way, shape or form a qualified health care provider. But as far as I'm aware, outside of the Marines and occasionally the Army, ordering someone better doesn't generally work. Points for the effort though...

Nitram, Tev, I hereby order Nitram's internal organs to stop revolting against their parent body. All Nitram's internal organs are hereby ordered to cease and desist all revolutionary or insurgent behavior.
In all seriousness, may you get better soon Nitram. My best wishes to you both.

Someone was handling that over on SDnet, but I don't recall if the Triumvirate has something set up here.Norseman wrote:This totally sucks :( Was there some paypal account where we could give some donations? I just got a tax refund.
Nit was on just the one shot of morphine. When I left him, he was (mostly) clear-headed, and the pain had all but vanished. While he said he was "sore", he felt he could sleep without any additional pain meds.
I'm sure he'll have a few more tests ran tomorrow, but chances are he'll be back home by nightfall. They may never find out what caused the pain, since they still don't know why the liver is failing.

I never had the thread locked, but he was home the next day. He has no stamina, and has been resting far more than usual, but he's not had a repeat of the pain.

Good, I'm glad to hear it, Tev. May things be calm for you both for a good while - you both heavily deserve to be drama-free.
