What is the reason to do P vs P?
If I win what do I gain, and what do I lose if I lose a fight?
How do I pick targets? (Jumping a lev 15 would not be good.)

PvP players are ranked based on win/loss records. When you choose to fight, a sample of about 20 players with the same ranking as you are picked. I've had everything from level 2 to level 15 in the same bracket. You can choose to gain just about anything - dignity (stat points), flowers (which are used to protect your campsite and sell for decent Meat), Meat, booze, items...but you can only pick one. If you lose, it generally means a loss of rank and a few stat points. I personally don't find it worthwhile, but I suck at it anyway.
