#1 Clan battles

Post by Mayabird »

Okay, I think I missed the memo somewhere. While it's very cool to beat the crap out of other clans and take their bags of goodies...what point does it play, exactly, aside from coolness? I'm not saying coolness isn't good, but I don't quite understand what's going on. Could somebody explain, please?

I don't really see much point to it myself.

I think we'd be better off using the clan's money to purchase clan buffs.

Agreed. I financed a goodly amount of permanent strength buffing today.

That was a lot of buffs.

A wise choice.

And yet, I still ended up eight points short of getting my next level of muscle and hence my next level, damn it.

Hey. I'm in this forum now. Someone take a look-see at my character page and tell me what I need to be doing. Becuase, I cannot CANNOT undefile the crypt. I'm wondering if I should blow like 200 turns on just working out.

Undefiling the crypt is one of the most straightforward quests around, Chardok. You just fight your way through each section until you reach the end, fight your way through that and voila, you're done. No special ingredients or maneuvers.

It's not as if the clan is going to die if we don't have any goodies or fight. Besides, I'm not in control of it.

I love the points more anyway.

Yar, but like, if you're fighting in there, and you leave, to go to your campground, to get back the HP you lose by being mauled, it resets it. I have no healing spells, and I don't have alot of money to be buying alot of shit to keep my HP up in there, ya know? That's why, for me it is the hard. and, honestly, wat the hell goosd is being a turtle tamer? I'll tell you. Nothing.

First, I suggest you get a new familiar. There are cocoa eggs in the clan stash - that'll give you a cocoabo, at least. They're nice because they'll heal you during battle occasionally, as well as get you extra meat. And don't turtle tamers deal with improving the stats of their familiars? That's probably mean you'd get healed more often.

Do turtle tamers train in that place on the Right Side of the Tracks as the seal clubbers?
I :luv: DPDarkPrimus!

Storytime update 8/31: Frigidmagi might be amused by this one.

Yup.

Chardok- leveling up helps a lot. You might troll around Cobb's Knob for a bit until you can boost your stats some.
