August's Familiar of the Month truly kicks butt for Hardcore

The Pygmy Bugbear Shaman is going to be awesome when used in Hardcore. The only setback is that it sucks your MP so you'll need to replenish quite a lot but still good.

I shouldn't have level it up though, as the higher it is the more mp it sucks. I'm going to have it reduced to level one when I ascend.

It is tempting. Supposedly it combines a volleyball with a gravy fairy and that there is a familiar item to lower its MP usage. If I had one, I would still level it up to get more stats and items.

Yes, there is one. I got it when I was leveling it at the Arena. It lowers 2-4 points per use.
It's called tiny nose-bone fetish.

I am not sure as of yet until I get more turns tomorrow but I think it only takes points when trying to get items and the volleyball part is free. I had messages that it would frown or whatever since I had no mp but a message below it would appear on top of the stats indicating that it gave extra stats. I'll have to check tomorrow to make sure.
