Can't get to the hole in the sky

Collect the following items by adventuring in The Castle in the Clouds in the Sky:

furry fur
giant needle
awful poetry journal


Once you have these items, use the giant castle map. You wil get you the quantum egg. Combine the egg with the S.O.C.K. to make an intragalactic rowboat.

I have these 3 items but each time when I use the giant castle map I get

"You start to follow the map through the back door of the Castle, but the door is guarded by a mean-looking Alphabet Giant. Looks like you'll have to figure out some way to get the guard away from the door."

what do i need to do?

Adventure at the Castle until you can put the Procrastination Giant on guard duty, then use the map.
