When do you drink the Gourd potion?

Ok, it is mentioned that there is a stat day

, on which is best to drink if you want that stat boosted well. Is there such a thing or shall I just gulp it down?

Well, here is a chart that summarizes the different bonuses on different days. I am not sure though if the potion is affected by this as well.
