Question: Just how close do we intend to stick to Utopia's basic mechanics? Because the mechanics, if not the flavor, seems to be shaping up to be remarkably similar from what I'm reading.

Honestly my opinion is go with what is proven to work. Basic mechanics of utopia work infinitely well. Mehul, for all my dislike of some of his changes to the game, did create a damned good engine to run this.

It's proven to work, but there needs to be something radically different in the flavor and interface, if not the basic mechanics, to keep people from screaming about ripoffs and just going back to Swirve.

Thats why we're trying to get as many people who have played the game over the years to input on it. To give us ideas that Mehul would never put forth that people would like to see.
