Blast slumped against the seat and listened quietly to the banter. He honestly had no idea what they were going to do next.

Niner shook his head. He stepped out from behind the AC unit. His purple eyes focused on the man.

"My name is my own. And just so you know, he sought me out because I am a teleporter and he wanted to know if I could track down a girl he knows is a teleporter," Niner lied.

"Federal Agent Insurance rates favor Agents. Make sure you are secured." The car started, a loud roar of a clearly powerful engine underneath the hood. The dashboard lit up, and Mark 25's hands fit perfectly into the molded steering wheel, which more resembled the flight controls of a commercial aircraft than a civilian car.

"In the event of nausea, please use available containers."

In his mind, the interface with the car was full-blown, the GPS system activating to find the best route, cross-referencing with existing traffic patterns. The signal overrides were activated in a pattern to ensure a short trip. Sirens would wait until a potential problem presented itself. The orders were clear, do not alert subject if possible.

Mark stepped out into the open air and stretched, shouldn't be too hard to keep up with the car. Better then trying to find his way around the convoluted city. With a running start Legacies threw himself into the air, firing out a tendril which latched onto the side of a building and Legacies used his momentum to pick up more speed as he finished the swing and let go, firing another tendril and repeating the motion. It reminded him of that old meta from when he was a kid. What was his name? The Human Spider? Spider Lad? Ah well, it felt great to be out in the open again.

The only sign that Niner was slightly suprised and pissed off at this person as a slight narrowing of his eyes.

Smart ass

A hand reached out and grabbed the kid by the scruff of his neck.

Anderson, perched on the edge of the roof, growled, "How so very nice of you. Suppose government approves of you borrowing their eyes?"

I knew that prickling at the back of my neck was for good reason...glad I stuck around after dropping the van...

"One more thing" Seven said in a perfect Peter Falk impression, “now you’re absolutely sure you were nowhere near the Binary Building? Because teleportation could get you out of there under the radar very easily. Now my records are a bit spotty so I can’t prove any of this I admit but it would certainly help my investigation, maybe do a little good and get the senator back if your willing to fill me in on a few details.â€Â

"Quiet you."

Anderson squeezed Seven's neck a bit, feeling the false skin compress slightly under his fingers as it was pressed against the composites underneath. His eyes narrowed, and reaching to the small of his back he pulled out a small eight-inch ruler that he normally used for his drafting. Careful to keep it out of Seven's sight, he pressed the edge against the back of his neck, and growled, "Wonder how strong this shit under skin is? Now, just want to ask a few questions..."

Niner narrowed his eyes.

Great, gun boy decided to come back. This could get bad. He thought.

Niner reached down into himself and got ready to snap up a tk wall, or throw an energy ball.

Under his mask Anderson rolled his eyes and pushed the kid at the teep, conscipiously putting his ruler back into his pocket. He pointed a finger at the cyborg and inquired sharply, "Why you snooping around? Don't like snooping around. REALLY don't like snooping around, when is me getting snooped on..."

What the hell? Where do they find these guys... Is this a guy or a walking can opener? Blast wondered. It wasn't that he was opposed to working with a robot, it's just that he would have liked to have known. He dicided to resort to humor to deal with this.

"You ever worked for the airlines man?" He asked as he checked his seatbelt.

"Negative. I was requested to remove my body before proceeding to the interview." The tone didn't change, but Mark 25's head tilted slightly as he replied. The engine revved, and the car took off. He would get the general location from Blackheart en route, until then, he might as well work his way to the general location indicated during the breifing.

"Yeah I guess a metallic body has drawbacks every now and again..." Blast muttered. He checked his suit and mask, didn't want anything falling off coming skewed.

Mark 25 sat silent for a moment, then returned his gaze to the road. "More than you'd know."

Blackheart took to the air. He wasn't a particularily flast flier, but the lack of traffic meant he made good speed inside cities. He activated his earpiece. "Is everyone recieving me?"

This was fucked up. A team mostly of rookies, lead by a man who had never run a team full of metas going into the field. He hoped everything would hold together. The boys upstairs must be desperate, but they were still giving him the mushroom treatment.
It's not that I'm unforgiving, it's that most of the people who wrong me are unrepentant assholes.

"Yeah, I recieve you. I have an updated location" he said, as a falcon kept pace with the car.

He gave the new location, noting that the target had not moved in some time.

Once outside the building, Saibot activated his life support field and took to the air, the power ring gifting him with the ability of flight.

He flew on ahead till he caught up with Legacies, then slowed his speed to follow the symbiote clad man.

"This..is different." he said over the open air, a brief trail of after energy signalling his path. In ten years, his control over the ring was enough that he had the cut energy trail from over 10 meters, down to barely a meter behind him.

"The first time we work on a team....what do you think of this sh...."

Saibot eas cut off as the earpeice went off beneath the helmet, "This is Saibot....read you loud and clear Hero. Where are we suppossed to be heading anyway?"

"Aw damn it ya scared him off." Seven said gesturing at Niner, "Look I got a feeling we are working towards the same goal here, we both want to find the senator, and find out as much as we can about what happened yesterday. I'm freelancing right now there is an open contract for any information or the safe return of the senator. However, I'm interested in possibly making contact with other individuals of our profession.

Legacies responded to Blackheart with a simple. "Affirmative." Then he looked over at Saibot. "Not the first time I've been on a team. But I'm thinking that even this job is gonna get screwed up by some hot head. Right now we simply pick up the telepath, alive and on our side, and then we can get around to actually teaching some of these half-asses how to use their powers."
