Legacies seemed to grow some, towering over the mystic. "The reason is your foolish human minds. You seek to control all things, and this time you have gone too far. Let me pass Kyosuke, they are getting away."

It was obvious that Legacies was not asking and would not make his demand again.

Kyosuke stood his ground, never flinching from the growing Legacies.
"Legacies-san, you know I cannot allow you to pass. You have already hurt many and will hurt many more. You must see reason and calm down, then we can work through this and find out where whatever it is that was taken has been taken. Please, calm yourself."

Between where he and Blackheart stood and the hallway where Legacies and Kyosuke held their standoff, a gateway had formed. Gravitas passed through first, hands flexing slowly. "Someone want to explain why our pal in the all-symbiote getup is in two places at once?"

Legacies saw the portal open and didn't hesitate for a moment. Gather up his strength and speed the symbiote burst forward at an incredible speed, headed right for the portal. Legacies' obvious intent was to skirt around Gravitas and pass through the portal and to freedom where he could pursue his quarry.

Ryan quickly snatched his pistol back up and moved to the down guards, checking to make sure they were alive. He knew he had no chance against Legacies without any of his gear, so he did the only thing he could.

Kyosuke sidestepped the dashing Legacies as the symbiote barged past. He thrust out his hand, his sword materializing in it.
"Legacies, stop!"

"So that's a no on explanations?" Gravitas raised a brow calmly, the portal closing in the wake of him and Blackheart as Legacies was delayed. "I don't want to pin you to the ceiling, Legacies. Just please tell me what the hell's going on."

Legacies struggled for a few moments before slipping out of the grasp of Blackheart after the portal was closed, pieces of the symbiote remained in the metas hands for a few moments before disintigrating. Crouched near the floor the symbiote looked up at the other four.

"We will speak only to Gravitas, you pawns of the government must leave."

Kyosuke shot another look at Legacies. He opened his hand and his sword disappeared. Straightening his uniform he strolled back towards the hallway out of the medbay.
"Are you sure, Blackheart-san, that is it wise to leave them alone? Legacies has already proven to be less then mentally sound at the moment."

Gravitas turned slowly, looking directly at the 'cloaked' Meta who was still aiming a weapon at Legacies. "Your power is effective only against those who are still mortal. Run along." The Nova said simply. Then, to ensure privacy, sheets of absolute blackness rose around Legacies and Gravitas. Touching them was impossible; the hand slid off like they were truly frictionless. More importantly, they made it impossible to watch the two or hear them.

"Bent space. Even telepathic contact would be dodgy. What the hell is happening, Legacies? You're in two places at once, I can feel it."

Legacies looked at the wall for a few moments before the head turned to look at Gravitas. "We symbiotes reproduce asexually, when the time is right we release the next symbiote and it finds a host that is... suitable. This government has stolen our "child". We do not know, nor do we care what they are to do with them, but we want it back."

Or even that anyone here is involved. But I need to know as much as you can tell me about this immature symbiot. Like what sort of host-creature it will need, and what it'll do to them."

Legacies was obviously growing impatient. "That is none of your business. Time is of the essence and if we are to catch the thief we must move quickly. It won't be but a day before the symbiote is matured and it will likely latch unto the first sentient creature it senses."

Those are the rules. You allow me to bring the others, and I will do what must be done for the safety of the young one."

The walls of darkness fell away. The radio crackled. "Blackheart. Give me the name and address of everyone who had access to Legacies. We will be finding what they stole, or trust me, our lives get alot worse."
