The area around the warehouse looked like a warzone. Several large puddles of burning gasoline, dead bodies scattered around, bullet holes all over the place, a bullet riddled car, and two corpses with their throats ripped out.

Not a chance, the shanties it is. No way she is going to trapse all over there with bodies and bullets. They can have their stupid gang thing. She is going to hide. Maybe she can hitch a train in the morning if she can get to the station.

She begins to head towards the shanties, before stepping on some broken glass. That smarted, but thankfully, it was just one piece. She will be more careful next time. She has a kerchief in her robe pocket she uses to sop up the blood on her foot and begins to wander towards the shanties, a bit more careful on what may be lying on the ground.

He turned from the corpse he'd just mangled and tried to catch the trail of the other escaper.

Marcus swore under his breath and brought a copious amount of blood into his legs. He was getting hungry... very hungry. With that he charged after the blood trail at inhuman speeds.

Stumbling in the dark, she limps up to a box car and tries to open it. At first it doesn't budge, it is on awful tight. But she has no idea who is coming or when or what they want, so she may be hiding for her life for all she knows. With one last huge tug, she opens up the box car and gets inside. Into the warm blanket of darkness, the bosom of what she considers safe.

Picking up the blood trail, he also launched in pursuit, catching sight of the Freak in the distance.

One more, then he had to make sure that none of his little pets saw more than they should have.

What a clusterfuck.

The sound of a several cars greets Marcus's ears. The streets are empty of pedestrians, the probable reaction to a nearby gunfight.

[Charon]

Marcus continued to follow the blood trail, he slowed his pace however and tried to keep under better cover.

The trail abruptly ended by the side of a street.

[Charon]

Marcus stopped and took a few steps back, feeling a trap he continued to back away, looking around for others, or maybe a place where his blood trail could have gone.

[Josh]

Wright in all his scorched, blazing glory arrived in a hurry, skidding to a stop and nearly overbalancing.

"Where... is he?" he snarled. Fucker was going to suffer...

[Charon]

"Blood trail stops. Not sure where it went. Fucker can sure take his hits." Marcus continued to scan the area.

[Josh]

Wright added his own perceptive eyes and nose to the hunt...

[Bratty]

Realizing she can't go home, she just has to hope the cops showed up.

Everything that happened this evening swims in her mind and seems to throb as her foot with the blood coming out of it into the kerchief. Her eyes feel heavy, she closes them. Just a little rest, until this all blows over.

No sign of the fucker. Of course, he could have gotten into a car.

[Charon]

Marcus swore. "I'm going back while the bodies are at least somewhat warm. Afterwords we need to find someone who deals with dynamite." Marcus began running full tilt back towards Wright's place.

[Josh]

Shit shit shit SHIT.

He followed Marcus. Fuck it all, they had to bury this bastard before he buried them.

"I can hook you up with the bang bangs," he said. "But we have to move fast. Grab your snack and then we GO."

[Charon]

Marcus got back to the area, and made a quick listen for sirens.

[Cynical Cat]

There were none. Chicago PD only showed up after gangland fights were over to collect bribes and destroy evidence.

[Charon]

Marcus nodded, same old same old. He grabbed the man who's neck he'd broken and dragged him into an alleyway and proceeded to feast. Once the corpse was dry Marcus wiped himself off with the guy's shirt, and tossed him into some dark corner.

[Josh]

Wright darted inside and grabbed a fire axe, then bolted back out and proceeded to behead each of Jason's victims. He stomped and mushed around the neck and torso areas until the obvious bite wounds were not so obvious anymore, then proceeded to lift each head and punt it as far as he could.

Let the other assholes wonder just what that was about, he thought with a grin. Okay, the situation was bad, but this did have some elements of low comedy to it all.

Three cop cars rolled into the area as Wright finished replacing the axe. Burly police officers casually strolled through the warzone. "This is the police. Put down any weapons and come out with you hands up."

[Charon]

Marcus stopped short of coming out of the alley at the sign of police. Best to let Wright deal with this. Marcus waited next to a dumpster for the police to leave.

What the hell were the cops doing here so quickly? It hadn't even been two hours since the show started...

He sighed, tossed his axe and pulled out his wallet.

"Hey guys, seems like a bunch of dumb fucks had accidents all over the street. How are you doing tonight?"
