He looked up and didn't see anything amiss, pocketing his regulation laser barrels.

He looked for the cheapest barrels, then purchased one for John, burning the last of his ME currency before sliding the card into his pocket, making sure that Colgate saw the action.

She saw him, all right, and gave a brief nod of acknowledgement.

"So, is that all, then?" she asked. Because she never really needed anything more than her standard Hygiene Officer's equipment.

He paused for a moment, remembering the device that Orange had that made the big explosion.

Looking back at the salesmen, he smiled brightly. "Do you have any throwable explosion-making devices?"

The INFRARED stared blankly back for a moment, blinking his eyes then grinned widely.
"OH! You mean gernades! Well...yes and no. We have some gernades but I tell you what. You look like an enterprising young Troubleshooter so I'll let you in on this one."

The salesman reached beneath the counter and then set a can of B3 up on it.
"You see this here can of B3? You shake this baby hard enough and throw it you'll get almost the same effect for a fraction of the cost! So how many can I get you?"

He studied the man for a long moment, before pointing down at John. "My friend here will take three."

"Of course, Citizen!"
The INFRARED eagerly set the cans on the counter and swiped the ME card, draining more funds away from it.

As the troubleshooters finished their outfitting they left the IR Market, walking through the twists and turns of the maze-like underground till they finally found an exit. As they left the maze, dragging John with them, they found themselves once more in a RED hallway. As they turned to look back into the preverbial snake pit they had just escaped from they found themselves staring at a perfectly smooth RED wall with no sign of the door they just left through.

You notice on your PDCs you have three hours and 40 minutes left in your mission schedule. You hear sudden shouting from just around a nearby bend in the corridor.
"Help!" Comes the frightened voice. "Someone help me!"

A second voice, this one mechanical and sinister shouts behind it.
"Nasty! Dirty! Filthy!" it shouts. "Mister Bubbles will remove you from his list!"

Colgate's head snaped toward the sound, then looked to Jim.

You thinking what I'm thinking?

She gestured to John.

Filthy? You bet.

He grunted as he got John around into position in front of him. "Here, help me friend citizen," he implored Colgate. "If you could help me by lifting his right side. A mere bout of unconsciousness should not render our friend here unable to be a face of justice and order for Friend Computer, don't you agree?"

She nodded. "Indeed! He's a trooper!" she said with enthusiasm, hefting the man by his right side and helping Jim position the unconscious man. "Surely, Friend Computer will appreciate his sacrifice!"

That cheerful thought in mind, they rounded the left-hand bend. He lagged ever so slightly in case immediate weapons fire began to come their way.

As you round the corner you spy a GREEN clearance citizen in a PLC uniform being mopped violently by a standard scrubot. This, as you recall, is suspiciously like what the ORANGE citizen told you your mission was.

"Halt in the name of Friend Computer!" he called out. "Cease molesting that innocent citizen at once, bot!"

He brandished John before him threateningly.

As John was being brandished in a threatening manner, he came out of his stupor.

Not in a obvious way though, seeing as he didn't feel like being killed anytime soon, but remained rather limp and still unconcious like.

The scrubot ceased it's violent mopping of the GREEN citizen and looked at the troubleshooters. As soon as it saw them it took off in the other direction as fast as it could.

"Justice prevails!" Jim announced exuberantly, releasing John to fall to the floor as he extended his arms and leapt into the air. "For Friend Computer!"

As John went down, he felt it was prudent to allow his arms to flail, in inturn, impacted rather roughly with Jim's groin, more particular, his tescticles.

His cheer abruptly morphed into a scream as he fell to the floor and curled into a fetal ball.

The GREEN citizen picked himself up and dusted himself off then looked over towards the troubleshooters. A grin spread across his face as he hobbled over towards them.
"Oh my saviors!" he shouted with elation. "Oh my, all of you are heros! You deserve a reward! Oh most definatly!"

As he approached the troubleshooters his grin grew wider.
"It's a shame though, I don't have any credits on me. But I tell you what, you all did me a great service, so I'll authorize a 50 credit a piece transfer to your accounts immediatly. Just give me your names and I'll make sure it happens right away!"

"That... won't be necessary citizen," Jim said, immediately suspicious for no particular reason. "Just doing our duty!"

John took the moment of Jim's fall and fetal positioning, to "awaken" and check on his fellow Troubleshooter. He patted him down, obstentially checking for injuries while exclaiming, "Friend! Are you alright, where have you been injured!"

A few pats in the pocket areas and Jim reappropriated two ME cards.

He slipped them into his own pocket and, satisfied that Jim was alright, he stood up to the Green Citizen.

"Friend Citizen, I am trained in the medical arts, allow me to check you for injuries!"

Without waiting for reply, John descended upon the GREEN citizen, "checking him for injuries" and switching his ME card with the GREEN citizen's.

"No no, troubleshooter! I insist! It's perfectly legal to do this and it's the way everyone in SPD sector does this! If you would beam me your ME identity from your PDC and I'll authorize the transfer immediatly."

"Come on!" she shouted at Jim, taking off after the robot.
