This thread is for the rule modifications that will be used in my Rogue Trader game. This is not a thread for commentary or discussion as we already have a thread for that. Feel free to talk, praise, complain, or bitterly moan about the changes there and they will be answered there. This thread is to kept clean so everyone knows that these are the rules in use, not the ones under discussion.
The attack rules from Black Crusade will be in use.
That means all attacks are half actions and the following
basic attack: +10
semi-auto and Swift attack: +0 and for every two degrees of success, another hit is scored.
full auto and Lightning Attack: -10 to hit and every degree of success will generate another another hit.
Unbalanced and Unwieldy weapons cannot be used to make Lightning Attacks
Suppression can be done with semi-auto weapons
Horde rules will be in use
Scatter
Will work as follows: +10 to hit at short and point blank range. +3 damage at point blank range. Armour is doubled against scatter attacks at long range and further. -10 penalty to dodge attacks with Scatter quality.
Melta quality added
At short range, the penetration of Melta weapons is doubled.
Holofields
Now a 35 point force field that doesn't overload
Reactions
Can be used on your turn.
Force Rods, Force Staves, and Psy Focuses
now give a +10 to focus power tests

#1 Rogue Trader Rules Updates
It's not that I'm unforgiving, it's that most of the people who wrong me are unrepentant assholes.

Righteous Fury
As per Black Crusade, instead of adding additional damage, successful Righteous Furies inflict a 1d5 rating critical. If the shot didn't inflict any damage at all, 1 Wound is inflicted instead.
