#1 Stargate SG-1 or Starship Troopers?

Alright so both are essentially the same system base (d20) and I love both concepts, and I was wondering which would be more easily received by the consumer populace of gamers here as to being run. I am not going to start running for a damn decent amount of time, at least another 2 to 4 months. As thus I want a vote of what is more of an interest, Troopers or StarGate?

*remembers the Stargate game Hotfoot had ran in NJ* Hahahahaha, hahahahhaha.
Of course, we wouldn't be constrained to playing on one day as we were then if we were to do it here.

Can you remove the facistic elements from Troopers and just hump the awesome-ass powered armor?

Fantastical parts of the Troopers can be removed, it would be mostly about character interaction between the players and the NPCs in the surrounding universe the TFCT Georgi Zhukov (TFCT = Terran Federation Corvette Transport). Throw in bits of good old fashioned bug splattering and an intergalactic war and its a game. Would be using the Starship Troopers game created by Mongoose and published under OGL. I have it on PDF and will pop it off over file transfer to who needs or wants it.

I'm game for either one, but I think that Troopers would be a better time.

Fixed. As you may see, I've left some question marks since I do not know how to calculate them.
The defense value for instance. The example gave that since Dex was 14 for the example character, it gives +2 bonus to it. Is it that you get one bonus point if you're between 0-10 but from 11-20 you get two?

8 and 9 is a -1, 10 and 11 is +0, 12 to 13 is +1, 14 to 15 is +2, 16 to 17 is +3 and so on and so forth as per the rules of d20 system.
thus your total saves should be:
F +2
R + 3
W + 2
DV (Unarmored): 11
DV (Armored): 20
Melee To Hit: 3
Ranged To Hit: 3
Fearless is a class feature, I would apply this to warrior bugs, because as part of the graduation process all troopers are exposed to a Warrior bug and have to kill it with the rest of their training platoon.
