Here is what I have in mind: We all write our own little independent stories, making up whatever we want as we go, interacting only if makes sense and you want to; no forcing it. Let's let any fancier plot just develop from what we do ourselves naturally.

I have to make an insistence in here: the Death Star has to be ruined as well. I say it should look like the DS2 in ROTJ - just instead of only being half done, it was half blown up. They sealed off the holes, so the other half is safe to inhabit, but with the chaos caused by the end of the world as they know it, they were never able to actually fix it.

Fits in to the theme.

Agreed. Besides, with regards to scale and firepower I want some set limits anyway. Sofar the most powerful faction I've presented is Madar's little fiefdom, which basically fits in as "thuh law" if you think in the terms of a Western. You let them get you, you're screwed.

They're the big boys I'm trying to avoid, but none of their ships are going to be more powerful than, say, the Tantive IV. And in the state the Aurora is currently in, that's more than powerful enough.

I'm afraid I'm going to have to bow out. I haven't got the patience or time to devote to a full-blown TGOD, I'm afraid to say.

You could just write little independent things; no pressure at all.

One thing I might as well come out and say is that I rarely have time for "full-blown" STGOD's; that's why I dropped out of Charon's FSTGOD (although I was rather fond of my Yorathan nation), 'cuz I was being pressured to post more often than was realistically possible. That's why, in making this TGOD, I want it to be abundantly clear that no one is under any sort of obligation to post fifteen times a day.

We go to work, and on top of that some of us also go to school. I myself have very little time for the intarwebs 'cuz I work all night, sleep in the daytime, and want to get some writing done. There's no need to entirely "bow out", just post when you have the time.

If I do post with any regularity, it'll be as a masterful villain rather than the typical sort of masterful hero. Because I'm evil enough to do that, obviously. I'm thinking perhaps someone manipulative, sly, charismatic, a superintelligent sort of mastermind, someone who's mastered the sort of villainy that only Moriarty or Dracula were the true masters of?

Surely, it'd have to be someone who has time to be the lord of such darkness, wouldn't it?

Gentlemen, I have something to ask. These tgods we do are really the closest thing to creative writing that I have really ever done. If you have any feedback at all or tips to offer that might improve my writing, I'd appreciate it (and you will too... it can make my posts less painful to read :razz: ).

(Also, thanks to Narsil for already offering some assistance on this subject to me over IM in the past.... if you have more to say, please, do say it.)

I missed this post when writing my post about Death Star, but....

Yes, my latest post says that the Death Star is in total chaos --see, the once-prized luxurious battlestation of Darth Kreshna is now more akin to Bartertown in Mad Max: Beyond Thunderdome.

Anyway, you folks remember Mad Max, don't you?

Of course. :razz: I had it in mind when I was musing over making this TGOD originally.

Of course, my current character should look (deliberately) out of place, being an evil alien time traveller from an alien world that was destroyed aeons ago. At this moment, he looks a little bit like John Simm in the outfit of a Victorian Gentleman, and he does indeed have possession of an old and damaged Type 40 TARDIS that has its chameleon circuit stuck in the form of an 1960s London Police Box.

There are two things to call attention to, however;

Will the original owner of the TARDIS be making an appearance? David Tennant's Tenth Doctor is likely going to be after reacquiring his TARDIS, or one of the older Doctors could turn up as a cross-timeline appearance.

What sort of evil cataclysmic plot will the Master develop? I am indeed voluntarily playing a big mastermind villain, naturally, and he's not known for doing things on a small scale. But he's smart, and his main weapon is his cunning. He might not be able to overpower anyone, but he can outwit them.

=============

EDIT: Although the Master does possess the ability to regenerate, I don't want to turn it into a bloody gimmick. Please don't kill him just to make him regenerate.

Jesus Christ. This TGOD seems to prove that even when they have nothing left - perhaps especially then, people just want to fuck.

Human instinct, I suppose when people get hopeless they find solace in intimacy.

But anyway, I like the way this TGOD is developing thusfar. Rather than page-long expositions about galaxy-shaking events we're posting little one-line character interactions on a personal level, making the TGOD's... intercourse... more involving and interesting. I say we all shoot for this approach as is most practical.

Agreed. I have found writing battles gets old kinda quick anyway. Poor Lucrecia slowly starving to death at least has some variety.

Anywho, be aware I want to bring Kerrigan back at some point. It will be a while though; I'm in no rush.

Awesome. As the only person alive who wants Kerrigan to kick everyone's ass in SC2 (a false hope, sigh), I heartily concur.

The Doctor won't be making another appearance for a while, yet, leave the Master to build up his resources and the story to get embroiled in the webs of deception and treachery. Just leave the UK alone, the Master's probably going to land the TARDIS there and start building something of an army out of humankind so he can have his forces. UNIT and the very infamous Torchwood may be making appearances... the latter may be utterly destroyed somehow.

The Crown of Crimson from my own universe may also garner a rather brief appearance.

I wanna blabber for a bit with background info.

The A'millian galaxy is now connected by a constant, huge (there is a planet passing through it twice a year), undefended wormhole, which I introduced back in my first post, so anyone can go back and forth with ease. But there is nothing to see over there any more; all my planets were destroyed by the war with the Empire.

I have about 10 ships alive, led by the FTL battlecruiser Warrior. I haven't decided what the others are yet. Warrior and her captain, Robert H. Jackson, made a brief appearance in the last PW incarnation, but that is all you have seen of it.

Note that none of my ships have artificial gravity. I am going with more of my hard-sf tech - no transporters, phasers, replicators, etc (hence the fuel and food problems).

It is a special ship because it was the oldest starship still in active duty, over 1100 years old, built back before the A'millian holocaust by the A'millians themselves. It was to be retired, but the events after PW 3 changed that, of course.

The leader of the fleet is Commodore Jackson.

Lady Lucrecia's title is only honorary. She is full blooded A'millian, but too young (~1000 years) to remember about their society first hand. She has had A'millian knight training; she is a mage.

I'm of the mild opinion that the Phoenix Force should be removed in at least some way, I might add. It's too unbalancing; having a God in a post-apocalyptic world is kind of defeating the whole issue, I have the Master, granted; but he's a time traveller turned up to take control via using the opportune moments presented. And he's not nearly as personally powerful as the Phoenix Force... I reckon that should be removed simply because it's unbalancing.
