If ya'll are wanting to collect a certain grey mage, you're going to have to enter the alleyway if you want to keep the timeframe within the same scene.
Otherwise, we can just position so we meet at a diner or something, since all of our characters have set the precedent of visiting a diner at some point regularly.

I'm waiting on Tev to post, since she's the one leading my little band back to where she saw him go.

For the record no combat vet has become a serial killer. At least as far has I know. Usually if we come back bad and twisted we end up self destructing. Suicide by Cop being a big way to do it.

Not serial killers to my knowledge either. But there's been cases where the soldier comes home and takes out their family or their next door neighbor. Or they go off because of something seemingly random. And most of them get put down by the cops. Most in cases like they are seemingly too broken to be organized enough to do something like what we're being presented with.
Though I will point out that there is two differing personalities involved in this serial killer. You have someone highly organized and methodical and then someone who reduces themselves to cannibalistic savagery. Those two things are seldom tied together in one serial killer unless the killer has some sort of MPD or similar. The kills we've been presented with have something of ritual to them. The torture, the carving, even the disposal of the body is fairly organized. The addition of cannibalism and the injection of food-based additives into the body just don't seem to add up with that of a highly organized mind.
However, Alchemy is organized, scientific even to an extent. It's ritualistic. Fisher's character is at this moment the only known Alchemist in Old Town, one of the few known in this area of the world in game and is a veteran 'hero' of a rather screwed up war. And he has been known to frequent bars more than just occasionally. He may not be a complete drunkard or alcoholic but he's certainly no teetotaler. We're presented with someone who has the skill, mental acuity, the experience and knowledge of alchemy and the trappings that go with it who also has a substance abuse problem, albeit a rather minor one.
He isn't the best suspect one could ask for, but he would easily fit as a person of interest. Hence him getting mentally labeled in two different lists. A possible source of information or a possible suspect.
None of it was meant to imply that combat vets who come back damaged are complete and total loons or nut jobs. Both of us know that to be untrue. If you think I worded it or implied it at such, Frigid, I apologize.

No worries B4, I just wanted to toss out a disclaimer. Sadly you're right about the sudden boom and bloodbath.
Still I don't know about this two person job. You could get both in one real simply, religious folk do it all the time. Or hell we could be dealing with a non-human. Or this is a cold calculated effort at terrorism.
On the flip side I've been focused on the idea this is one guy. You're right in that this could be two or more people and we shouldn't be wedded to any set number.

right now, it's all on the PC's to make things go.
I'm fiddling with fixing everything up to flow right, and for things to occur after all the meetups at Matt's house....
but until then....Players must move!

I know I need to get the map and other info to frigid, B4 and Nit, I'm trying to find a good city map I can co-opt for this....
not so easy.
I'll try to get something ASAP though, even if I have to mangle something together.

As needed by Nitram, Frigid and B4....the maps
Old Town in General, to the Northeast is the "Suburb" District of the Crystal City, to the western end, the "Red Light" District, to the "center"(aka North West) is the Megatropolis.
The mapping of Victims, with names and order, of the Cannibal in so far.

For people not familiar with Mass Effect, Ni'shate in human is equivalent to about mid/late twenties.

Going by this. One of the victims, Alanna was of average weight for her height. The other two were less then average weight. No match on weight or height.
Age... Asari live about a thousand years, so someone in their 300s is still rather young. The killer seems to prefer young or young seeming victims.

And, if there's a next victim, it'll probably be the south. This one's comfortable now. Ranging farther from it's lair.

I thought of that, but that would require uniform distances, which isn't happening. Also we need to keep in mind that where the victum was found isn't where they were killed. They're dump sites. Not murder sites. I'm guessing on desperately little information but... I would say he/they/it kill in a single location and then dump the body in random spots. I'm not gonna get to attached to any theory or idea, it's better to stay loose so you can follow the data without prejudice.

Fuck, you're right, Frigid.
But why not dump them in the river? Why dump them in places they'd be found?

Because it wants the bodies found. It wants the fear that this is causing. It wants the panic, the terror, the problems that are coming from all of this.
