Figured it was set around our current timeframe so I wouldn't have to spend forever trying to come up with events to happen between now and then. Plus it's still a time frame we're all familer with so we have a fair idea of the world climate as it were.

Think of it as the Avengers. The Avengers were made up of characters who had been indies for awhile prior to banding together to save the earth.

Can you have heroes like Daredevil, who operate in the same area as the Avengers, but aren't part of the group; however, they associate with them occassionally?

You're also an unregistered psychotic homocidal escaped government science experiment gone wrong.

I'd take some good publicity if I were you

You'd be amazed how fast dangerous psychopaths can be brought into line with a little pressure exerted on their favorite internal organs. I'm sure once we see what we're up against, we're going to fall into an uneasy alliance.

And I call all the Q lines.

To quote my favorite author and yours...
"In many strange eons even death may die."

It's also hard to be a team player when you're in a government lab being poked and prodded. Or perhaps thats how one would choose to offer their service to the team?

well, I am willing to be part of a team. I am not omnipotent and thus see the need to compliment each other's abilities if we are to destroy that which is evil.

Hurm... well, I'll work *with* the team, just not so hot on being *part* of it... loner and all. But some of you can tag along if I have a mission to accomplish...

Dirty Bastard. As for myself, Blast has all of two battles under his belt. He's clearly the rookie here.

Oh gods, Angst. My one weakpoint. It makes me spontaneously start nuking cities until it stops.

Alright, the game is officially afoot. Heroes: Eve of Destiny has opened in the IC.

I go now to give my weary brain the rest it so righteously deserves after being reduced to a supermush from all this superpowered superstuff all weekend. My eyes! Ze goggles do nothing!
