I'm holding off on further conversations at this point. Rogue 9 and Haizu have posted once or twice, and aside from CT I haven't seen much from the others.

At risk of moving too quickly, I shall wait for the others.

I'm going to be blunt. Jason, if you want to stay in this game, post.

If not, your character will get turned into an NPC, and I'll quite happily move the game along without you, and without your utter lack of notification or even effort to post.

Cool.

Additionally - I just gave all of you an effective teacher for arcane stuff, so if you want to get a particular spell or feat, Kalya can probably help teach you how to do so - depending on what it is. This is why not trying to kill the monk was a good idea, for more than one reason.

She also has levels in Archmage and Blood Magus, so those of you going for either of those two routes can turn to her as a teacher for those as well.

Rogue9, Grer's World Sphere has been softly glowing the whole time you've been in the castle. It's not obvious if the sphere is covered, since it doesn't feel any warmer, or colder, or anything - it's just shining softly on its own as you reveal it.

FYI - the spheres' names are the World Spheres, but the more ivory-tower types (like Kalya) call them by their more proper translation, the Spheres or Orbs of Rebirth.

Yes, Rogue9, there is a benefit. No, I'm not telling you in advance what all it does - I'll have to leave some mystery here.

Yes, the rest of you need to roll. If any of you get a 20 result, then bonus info - otherwise, all of you may wish to be on your way.

Cynical Cat, Haizu, and Academia Nut have been notably light on posts of late. Since Academia Nut is likely on finals at the moment, are you two (CynCat & Haizu) still interested in playing?

Two spells... I suspect timestop and dimension door...

two spellcraft checks

The first for the time slowing

The second for the vanishing act

Thank you for helping the game take off, as it did, then.

As for the remainder of you, Spellcraft checks will be needed to figure out a few things about what spells that guy cast, and a Knowledge(Arcana) for flavor - and to discover anything pertinent about how he moved, and what he wore.

The voices in the distance are recognizable as the Steward (as a Bronze dragon) and Kalya, and they sound like they were arguing.
