I'm working on a revision of the Salamander class, and have been since Tuesday of this week. My reasons for this were that the original writeup has been called "wankish," which is something I'd like to avoid.

I'm going to be going for more detail than the rest, but this is only because this will actually be the third revision.

For the record - this will not affect my ship's stated performance or stated purpose, only elaborate on it without sounding like I'm masturbating.

So - I'll be working on drafts of it over the weekend, and after final approval from DS, I'll post it. Given that we're still at the "Hi, my name is..." stage of the game, I'll take the time to do it right, but I'm not going to take a month doing it.

The funny thing is I thought of the very same thing, and have actually talked to CT about it a bit and i had a part in my character description about training the crew in the use of slug throwers.

I dont think the hull has much to worry about from a 20th century pistol when it can take multikiloton phasers... just a thought...

Uh, hand held phaser weapons now have frequency randomizer chips, so pretty much every shot is different so the borg can't adapt. And if the phaser happens to hit a frequency already used, you just keep firing until it gets a shot in. You people with your slug throwers and melee weapons.

FYI: i'm not getting involved witht he fight - unless I think your making it to easy.

You get to make the calls on the battle, hits, damage, etc etc.
