Physical Description: 6'1" tall, 195 lbs. In shape, but doesn't have steroid muscles. Brown hair (reddish-brown with enough sun), and blue eyes. Has a thoughtful and responsive demeanor.

Affiliations: Drafted into Ultima a little over a year ago from the USAF Pararescue Corps. Still has good contacts in the USAF, and was honorably discharged. Was put into a team responsible for rescue and recovery from metahuman sources directly after joining Ultima, and has now been tapped to join Team Omega.

History: Jason grew up without a father, just his sickly mother and his grandparents. As a result, he grew up holding the ideals of responsibility and caring for others' lives, and decided to join the USAF when he turned 18, as he wanted to do what he could for his country as well.

An accident with a hot electrical line while on a mission awoke his metahuman powers, which he largely kept to himself for the interim 3 years. His training as Pararescue in the USAF gave him the grounding he needed to research and study for a Master's degree in biology.

Around the time he was deciding whether or not to re-enlist, he was approached by two Ultima agents. After a couple hours of talking that day, and a few weeks to think it over, he was eventually convinced that he could put his skills and talents to better use with Ultima than with the Pararescue teams. The Ultima agents brought up how the Omnicorp war devastated Ultima's ranks, how Ultima's new direction of accountability and responsibility meant more dangerous missions with better public approval, and finally, how all his skills both as a metahuman and from Pararescue would better fit the missions Ultima was now undertaking more often. After three weeks and four days, they had his answer - and he was honorably discharged from the USAF, to immediately gain a job with Ultima.

Special Equipment:
Depends on assignment.

Powers:
Biomanipulation - Being able to influence living bodies' functions and bio-responses; either his own or others'. This requires that Pulse touch the intended recipient of this power via direct flesh to flesh contact; will not work through gloves or other clothing. Currently specialized in:
- flesh/bonecraft (used primarily to heal wounds, though it has other uses)
- Metabolistic influence (used to heighten/dampen reflexes, deaden/amplify pain receptivity, heighten/dampen strength & stamina, affect sensory perception, cause/cure paralysis/unconsciousness, etc.)

Teleportation - Pulse is capable of teleporting anyplace he can see with his unaided vision, or anyplace he's been to before. He can bring along at most one human-sized object. This requires a few moments of concentration before he can use this ability.

Alright, we're currently waiting on Charon, however Charon is MIA at the moment. He hasn't been on either this board or on IM in quite some time as far as my records show.

In the meantime, please let me know whether or not the players wish to continue waiting and see if he pops up, or if everyone would rather push ahead and let him hop back in when he gets a chance.

The reason I'm hesitant to say "yes, let's move on" is because Charon has not placed any notice saying that he'd be gone for a while. For that reason alone, I'm inclined to wait.

BTW, at this point Hawk has had the paperwork authorized and forwarded to get Pulse assigned to Omega for the time being for the Op. He would have been given the location as soon as Legion checked in to report and met the team at the scene.
