More like outnumbered, and surrounded; leading rookies, without air support, or artillery support; while being bombed, and shelled; low on ammo, lower on energon; hundreds of miles from allied units, no prospect of relief; and all for terrible pay.

She usually talks in a deadpan, how can that be annoying?

If it makes you feel better, I can have her not deadpan when she's telling war stories.

I was joking about the annoying vocal-processor bit.

Reposting of FWA information with some expansion.
Free World Alliance:

Adenuii: Human sized, blue fur. The single largest group in the Alliance, making up 40% of the population, they actually haven't been hit yet by the DGE but are close enough to see the writing on the wall. Of the four races they are the most human in build and proportion.

Trea: An aboreal species with 6 limbs. They were the first invaded, as a result most of the fighting took place on their worlds, with them suffering the heaviest causalities. 3 of their worlds are still under Decepticon occupication and they're pushing for a counter-offensive. If they get their way to soon, it'll be bloodbath. Unlike the Adenuii, they have only light hair covering (they do not have thick hair on their heads like humans, more of a fuzz) with their skin having brown, black and grey patterns across them.

Lamia: Descended from pack hunters, these guys are carnivores who like being in groups. They've become the mainline fighters due to being just plain nuts, despite having an average height of 5 feet, they're willing to charge into combat with Decepitcons and Meckhans. They have leatherly skin and large brown eyes, along with no exterior ears. They tend to look squat compared to the other races.

Hamura: The Hamura are actually a nomadic race, having lost their homeworld to an unexplained disaster. Having been in the void for generations they're more comfortable on a ship or station then at the bottom of a gravity well. They join the FWA when the GDE started targeting their fleets for piratcy. The Hamura are pale ranging from white to subdued blues and purples with 3 red eyes, that are suppose to see a wider range of light then most sapients.

Structure of the FWA: Each specis has it's own military and government but has unified the command sturcture via a central joint staff appointing commanders for the thearters of war. The governments themselves set up a council for the direction and organization of the war effort. It is not as centralized as the League. It may help players to think of this as NATO with an economic aspect.

Gah! Slightly late again! I need to be more on the ball. v.v

I love thinking about Transformers transforming, even if it's something so simple as going into combat mode and back out of it. It's just neat how all the parts move fluidly into and out of place while make clincking, clacking, clich-clach sounds.

A thought: how the Cybertronians chosen names translated into the various languages of the FWA. Negative connotations could be troublesome, especially those close to taboo subjects or simple curses. :)

It's likely just Steve and his brother who aren't in. They haven't posted a damn thing since their characters.

Without Crankcase, who is going to repair us? >.>

Armaina is probably out, which is sad because I really liked Merka. Also Charon hasn't posted since we were on Coldrock.

Scanning for Cybertronian lifeforms, or any other Cybertron contacts not accounted for.

Yup - that's basically what Farshot's sensor-swarm / smartfog is doing, along with mapping the area.

Note that Blastcap wants to sweep the areas around the room they are. Probably out to a radius of a few kilometres, for reasons that should now be obvious. Farshot and Shimmer have the room itself well covered.

I should note for the record that Farshot's smartfog is in no way limited to just this room.

More seriously, Farshot's planning to perform a complete sweep of the base, with the smartfog moving, expanding, and concentrating as needed.

The volume of the station is probably orders of magnitude larger than the volume your smart fog can cover. Orbitals Rings: really big. With enough time I think any one of us could sweep the entire station, but our effectiveness is that much greater working together.

I other news, the phrase "twenty kilos of antimatter" is stuck in my head, because apparently it's really fun to say. "~On the twentieth day of the invasion, my true enemy gave to me: Twenty kilos of antimatter~" Yeah it doesn't work as well in song.

Rheonix, this thing is a ring that goes around an entire planet. I admit freely I stole this idea (I leave it to the players to guess from where). This thing is bigger then entire continents and there is no way in hell I would let your smart fog even cover the full area of a small state or even an entire city.

I will have a post soon and apologize for the wait, I keep getting distracted.

Ah, apologies - I had no idea of the size of the ring station.

Well, we can at least get the immediate area searched, and move on from there.

I'll try to catch up when I have time. But I've been working craploads lately because apparently not many people are willing to work 12 hour shifts on Saturday and Sunday (shocker, I know) and I'm already scheduled for the weekdays too.

Does anyone need repairs yet? And if they do, how much of that is due to their being overaggressive or too heroic? That's an important formula for how ornery Crankcase will be about it.
