And now, on reflection, every time I've played a Fiend who wasn't a sorcerer I've died quick, compared to almost perfect survivability by my kolduns.

The universe might be telling me something. . . .

So Setite, Tremere, or Tzimisce for my blood magic wielder. . . .

Probably Tzimisce, I'm still feeling the urge, I don't really like to play Setites, and Lady T says a Tremere is going to be trouble . . .

EDIT: Also Tzimisce, Tremere, and Assamite are the only clans who frequently set things on fire with their magic. . . .

Indeed. Only the Tremere do it without style, though.

However, they burn quite nicely when they're set on fire.

Do a Tzimisce Koldun, then. There's good reason for refugees to be fleeing the Tremere.

Okay. Assamite is out of the running not because they suck, but because we've already got a bunch, PC and NPC. Not because I don't respect his albino badassness.

Since I'm not playing Sirocco in the Heroes game, I think I might do the whole same thing here. There is a Desert Wind path for Assamite Sorcery, however both Charon and I, upon reading it, both couldn't help but laugh at how ridiculously retarded it was. So, I'll go with the Assamite Sorcery equivalents of Path of Flame, and Movement of the Mind at some point.

Can't ignore the sword though - Awakening the Steel is just too awesome. Limited, yes, but very awesome for what it does.

Hunter's Winds. And it's one of the most broken POS paths I've ever read. Yes that includes Temporis.

*looks through the Koldunic Paths again*

Well, Way of Fire... also known as "Creo Ignum? Those pussies?"

And a level five ritual... Conjure Demon.

Well the Demon in question is actually just a spirit. The word demon is derived from the Greek daemon, meaning spirit. Of course, the spirit in question could be a Bane, although most Kolduns war against such beings with the annual Bane slaughter party of Kupala's Night.

No comment on Way of Fire.

That's a new one to me as well.

Then again, the Assamites have a long history of being demonslayers, so it stands to reason that the Koldunic traditions weren't just "I CAN FEEL THE POWER" types.

The land is sacred, remember? The Tzimisce are serious about this, to the point of it being their clan flaw.

The origins of Koldunic Sorcery are shrouded in myth. Some believe it was power bargained from the demon lord Kupala, who slumbers imprisoned in the Transylvanian Earth. Others that it was stolen from him or developed to combat him, but his presence is part of the reason that the land is so magic rich.

Kupala has Bane children, also called Kupala, who possesses and warp beings and even inanimate objects like rocks and trees. The Tzimisce fight them when they encounter them (They're pretty rare). Every Kupala's Night the Tzimisce gather and take on their most fearsome forms. A level 5 Koldunic Sorcery ritual breaches the Gauntlet and they basically go on an all night long Bane slaughter spree.

I've handed out experience to you all. If you have any problems with the amount of experience I've given you... well... I don't particularly care.

I will be instituting something from my gaming group though after this point. If, by the next time I am handing out experience, you think your character has learned something interesting or important about something that is happening in the city you can either PM me or say it on here and if it's good I'll give you extra experience.

Nobody expects the Tzmisce Invasion!

On an unrelated note, why is no one posting? I mean, Cat has an excuse, his character is dead, and CT has an excuse, I think I heard him mumbling something about showing those Mormons what's what while in a drunken stupor, but where are the rest of you schmucks? (Minus Tevar, who has been posting. So I guess I'm really just asking where Silence and Rhoenix have disappeared to (my bet is the bahamas, together. (this is mostly because I wanted to end this with three ellipses))).
