Rheonix?
If you put even the tiniest dent in the tricked out street-racer sitting in the garage, Argent will hurt you. Tachyon might hurt you worse, as Argent's all but given it too him, and he's the only one that's driven it.
Although Hotfoot was wanting to take it out and try out the Nitrous on it......

Oh well shit, if the garage is actually being used to store cars, I suppose another option will have to be found.LadyTevar wrote:Rheonix?

That warehouse might be a good idea, but it might gain a reputation quickly for being haunted, or a mad scientist's laboratory...which wouldn't be completely off the mark, though it would be inaccurate. Sane scientists are better, anyway.

There is ONE car in the two-car garage.
It was built for Argent's first partner, Ember. Since she was a fire elementalist, the car has a flame motif to everything. Think the tricked-out street racers made famous by The Fast and the Furious movies. Argent couldn't even tell you what make/model the car started out as, since she's not into that (and I don't know much more), but none of the parts are original now.
Basics on the car? A sleek, low-to-the-ground vehicle tricked out with all the bells & whistles of a street-racing ricer, and even the paint is the kind that shifts as you walk around it, so the red/orange flames over the top and down the sides flicker and shift to blue/white as it moves.

That's a pretty damn cool car, I have to say.LadyTevar wrote:It was built for Argent's first partner, Ember. Since she was a fire elementalist, the car has a flame motif to everything. But yeah, a car like that in the garage, with room for another car or no, simply will not work for a meta who wants to practice burning, freezing, focused direct energy transfer, and control over all of the above in an area and at focused points. So right, warehouse it might be.

I want a GM call.
Because frankly, Fisher is gonna be feeling all clever and stinky that he's twisting words around just enough to pretend he ain't lying his ass off. Y'all seem to be trying just to damn hard to dodge a bullet.
Certain point of view my ass.

Hey, I'm perfectly willing for Argent to pick up the lie, in fact, I expected she would. So yes, please, have a GM make the call, and I will happily follow that ruling.

I assume amoung Gravitas's new powers is super vision.....
Ghost flew to the bluffs, which Saibot told him was a hour away at full flight speed. At the max speed of 200mph in flight, that puts the bluffs at 200mi from the base. Not to mention unless he's seeing 360 degrees, he'd have to be pointing southeast to even see where the base is.
Just saying.

The GM's ruling on the situation was this:
Tev is free to play the character how she wishes. I pointed out that based on the situation while the lie may have wanted to be believed that with the current player conflicts in this game, purposely ignoring a fairly obvious lie, even if the character would want to, would further jeopardize the game to a point where it may not survive.
So she posted that she saw through the lie.
Play continues.

Don't worry DS. We'll paralyze you, disarm you and shoot at you with light speed beam weapons capable of blowing up tanks. You'll still be able to post a dodge, subject to GM's call.Dark Silver wrote:I will be offline for the rest of the night.

Actually the only one chomping at the bit here would be you. But way to know he's ready seeing as how you're really not 100% sure where the base is, have never been inside it, currently aren't even talking to the guy in character or have any ability to read his thoughts, emotions or plans. But great job on that.ImperialFeline (10:45:12 AM): Depends on how it works out. Blackheart's master plan is to hit him with Gravitas, Tachyon, and Blast. Since he's ready and chomping at the bit to fight Blackheart, a better plan is to have him fight every powerhouse but Blackheart.
You pull this one and I'm defintely calling bullshit and metagaming considering this is Blackheart's little fucking crusade and nobody elses.

Fuck you B4. I was discussing a hypothetical on AIM, specifically how to deal with Saibot when we find him. That kind of implies we find him first, which is an entirely different issue. Since when is it metagaming for Blackheart to think ahead?B4UTRUST wrote: Actually the only one chomping at the bit here would be you. Pull what? Since when is Blackheart planning ahead on how to deploy his team against Saibot and trying to use the bad blood between them to his team's advantage metagaming? And thanks for making his secret planning public, by the way. Pulling the and I quote
Planning ahead with information you DO NOT HAVE is what I have the issue with. You don't know Saibot is ready for a fucking icecream social much less a fucking raid by Mirage on the facilty.
As for your whole "making his secret plan public," fuck off. Your plan was about as complex, deep and organized as a Laurell K. Hamilton novel and can be summerized as 'Attack him till he dies.' If your grand fucking master plan of two whole sentances gives away his entire strategy for the battle you're fucked regardless so kindly piss off with that shit.
As for you quitting? Why the hell not, everyone else is threatening it because of the bad blood between Blackheart and Saibot and Blackheart and Argent and the whole IC crossing over into OOC shit and quite frankly I DON'T GIVE A FLYING FUCK! QUIT! FUCKING LEAVE IF YOU WANT! You get NO fucking sympathy from me. I'm at the point now where I'm so tired of you all fighting amongst yourselves and bitching about it that I'm half a step away from saying fuck it and deleteing the entire game and ending it. So no, I don't give a fuck if you quit, if you stay or you go fuck yourself with a baseball bat sideways. And THAT is my GM's call on THAT.
Have everyone else BUT BLACKHEART. Of course everyone in the game knows by this point that you hate the character, he hates your character, you both want to kill each other but you would rather it conveniently not involve the risk to yours.Since he's ready and chomping at the bit to fight Blackheart, a better plan is to have him fight every powerhouse but Blackheart.

Get over yourself B4. Saibot certainly knows that Blackheart is coming sooner or later and he's certainly wants to kill Blackheart more than any other team member. Using that against him is intelligent. I'm certainly not afraid to lose the character.
Go ahead and kill the game. I'm not interested in taking this kind of abuse from you.

#2248 You know...
The more I think about it, the more I think that heroes as a game as of late has been on life support for a while. I think now may be as good a time as ever to pull the plug. After a while, it just feels like people can't let go. I am ready to let go.
To be perfectly honest, I never really cared for the Caprica B plot. Saibot should have rotted in that orbital prison and if DS still had an interest in participating he should have done what everyone else would have done in that position. Instead, we had the breakout, the returning of certain elements of the story that as far as I am concerned added nothing and more DS bullshit in the OOC thread with a regularity that was distressing.
Kyosuke, Saibot and to a lesser extent Ghost were all elements in the game that were superfluous as far as I am concerned. However, Ghost at least gets a cookie point for sticking to his guns on his concept and background and sucking up the consequences without complaint.
I had my fun in the game but at this moment, I can't honestly say that I will be sad if it ends. There has been too much OOC maneuvering as of late. It is my belief that if the entire Caprica B plot had been nipped in the bud earlier, the game would have been more enjoyable and would not be in the position that it is now. To quote one of my favorites lines from the Angel series.
Voice 1: "Marcao! The Superheroes game is going to die..."
Marcao: "And yet somehow, I can't seem to care."
I am not quite to that point right now, but I am getting to that point like a MOAB in free fall towards its final destination. If we as a group of players cannot get our affairs in order fast then we might as well kill the game than let it continue. That is where I stand.

Even though I'm the junior player here, I've rather quickly lost interest just over the past few weeks. All the invested intrigue and interest I have with my character and this game has waned nearly to the point of apathy, and not because of the plot, or GM, or anything other than OOC bullshit.
So, whatev. I'd be interested in possibly joining a similar sort of game at a later date, as the concept is intriguing. But at the moment, I wouldn't oppose a move to end the current game.

I will say this: It's one thing to end a game. Eventually, all games must end. It's another thing to threaten to delete the entire thing. Let's take a step back and cool down, because it's clear tensions are high right now. If the game ends, then sadly, it ends, we all learn something and we move on and put this behind us, taking with us the good memories of the game.
Otherwise, let's tone down the level of the arguing. Debating situations is a time-honored tradition in games, but this has gotten way out of control.
