Hard to get the teleporter device up and running, when we're not at the base....part of the reason for coming to Vegas.

And Fisher..yeah...AVBT.

At the moment though, Ghost and Saibot are flowing low, over and away from Vegas, at a pretty fast clip. Argent's Teleport may very well end her up in the desert...

Her ending up in the desert outside of Vegas is just fine. It does tell us what we want to know and it allows Fisher to stay out of play.

Problem: They're flying at about 200mph.

Catching up to them will be problem #1. Finding shadow to emerge from is #2.

There will be a constant shadow from them being in the air. They'll just move so fast she might take a few moments to find the shade to return.

There will be plenty of shadows from nearby terrain. Not a problem.

Cat, by the time she emerged from the 'nearby terrain', her target (Ghost) will not be there. Flying or in a car, it won't matter, because she's having to compensate for Ghost's speed. Between doesn't really give her speed, it's just a shortcut between two points.

However, despite such, it would still verify a general region. If accelerating away from Vegas at high speed, that would confirm position.

I don't give a fuck about her catching them (I lie. With Fisher gone for a week, I don't want to catch them quite yet). I want to confirm IDs. Being in the South West as opposed to the East Coast does that.
