Something I just thought of: Were the Garou glyphs carved by claws (traditional method) or by a knife? How large are the glyphs, as a Garou's claws would leave very large markings.

If she was say 15 to 17 it is possible that she was experiencing a form of delayed growth spurt.

Now could all of you slow the fuck down? I have a limited amount of time of on my hands having to spend 9 hours a day working and roughly 2 hours in transit to and 2 hours back. This is a message board. Wait for others to post. Yes this means you.

Now unless the writing is in Latin or Mayan (I'm going to assume Cat's character would notice the use of his birth language, call me crazy) Jones can't read it.

Now I suggest we all try something new. Take turns and be patient. Make one, count them one post and wait for everyone else until our little meeting around the table is done okay?

Agreed with Magi. Not sure how often I'll be posting this week (have company over) so the story not jumping 3 pages while I look the other way would be appreciated.

Oh and Magi, you mixed up James and Jason. Understandable, since the names are so similar.

The language Nitram recognized OOC as Enochian, and DS confirmed it in IMs for us. So that's a dead end unless anyone can speak Enochian. I had Supiyaw ask Boxer because she knew of his knowledge of ancient languages. It was also an educated guess that Rowin would have books with this language, since the Chantry library is well-stocked.

However, as Frigid and Charon have pointed out, we are going a bit fast. Of late, due to the pills I have been taking, I have been crashing hard around 10p Eastern. ("May cause drowsiness" should read "Will knock you on ass") This means I miss chatting with Frigid and Charon as they get online later, and I miss out on the late-night RP.

Having a little patience now will pay off bigtime later.

To answer Tev's questions....

a) I purposely made her that short.

b) The red letters are Enochian. None of your characters are capable of reading it, as none of you have Enochian as a language as a "secondary language".

c) the Runes LOOK to be carved into the body, but there is no blood from or in them in the picture, and they look burned in. The Enochian letters are likewise, cut into the flesh, but look like it was done by hand, and there is trace amounts of blood still there.

Now, as Frigid and Charon have asked, slow down. This isn't a race.

Actually, Enochian isn't a secondary language you can get with Linguistics. It's a secondary ability, yes a Knowledge that only deals with one language. It's that hard and that powerful.

There is no Astral Plane in Mage. There is Astral Projection and there are Astral Realms, but there is no Astral Plane. I avoid the trick question and collect the golden fruit from the treasure chest.

He's barely more than an apprentice (a very talented one, but still barely an Adept by Hermetic standards). He certainly doesn't think of himself as the big bad Russian mage.

The only other shape shifters he's met have been Black Spiral Dancers. You do the math.

That's why it's an instinctive reaction, not a rational one. He doesn't run screaming from the room or try to incinerate her, suddenly finding out makes him jumpy.
