Cynical Cat, I seem to recall closing the door to that room, and I expect opsec is taken seriously enough on the finger that conference rooms are sound proofed.

Not to say that I, as a player, don't want Deathstrike eavesdropping, it could lead to some neat roleplaying. It's just that I can't imagine Blastcap not having taken steps to keep her conversation with Cavalier private. If you can think of a way around that, then I'm cool with it. Even Deathstrike wondering why the sound dampeners are malfunctioning would suffice.

Actually you asked Cavalier to close the door and Havoc did not post closing the door. If you want the door closed I'll edit it since your character did want it and could reasonably have arranged it.

That's true, Havoc didn't say that Cavalier closed the door, but as you say Blastcap could have easily closed it herself.

Again though, if you want Deathstrike eavesdropping because you think it will add to the story that's fine by me. It's not impossible for an unimportant conference room to have a non-obvous flaw in the sound proofing. Since Blastcap is a combat engineer and not an intel techie, she wouldn't notice it off hand.

I was only going toward the conversation because that was the logical place to go. If the room should have been sealed, that's cool.

Well, cool for Deathstrike. Confined spaces containing an angry Cavalier aren't good for the health and continued functioning of other 'bots, but not my problem.

Oh wow, I got to bed and the whole situation goes to hell while I'm sleeping. I'm pretty sure Blastcap could have talked herself out of that one without causing damage to the Headquarters. This is coming out of you guy's paychecks, because thus far I haven't broken a damn thing.

Nothing, like Grindstone you're outside the blast radius.

If things go nuclear you might have to repair Breakout and the other survivors, though. There's a few bulkheads in between, but I'm packing a lot of boom.

No, this is why Blastcap is annoyed with Deathstrike. See, if she'd had it her way then either nobody but Cavalier and her would know about the little spat, or a huge explosion would the first and last thing anyone knew of it.

You see that's your problem right there. There's a "had it her way" in the same sentence as "Cavalier". You see how those two don't go together?

...as much as I dislike to....I agree with Cat on this.

Cavalier gets it his way, or things get broken. A lot.

This is a guy who got into a rumble with the Combaticon Brawl, then got baseball'd by Onslaught and still wanted to have a go at it.

Come on guys, Cavalier gave Blastcap a chance to explain herself. Considering that she had a series of dammed good reasons, I think without Deathstrike's interruption everyone would have walked away from this without their paint scratched.
