#1 Imaginary Time

Post by rhoenix »

This is the wikipedia article: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Imaginary_time

I heard Dr. Stephen Hawking mention this recently, and I simply do not know enough math to understand this. To the best of what I can understand, imaginary time is a way of viewing time as a three dimensional construct, similar to how we view space as having three dimensions.

However, that's about the limit of what I understand of it so far. If someone here could help me understand this, I would sincerely appreciate it.
