Post copied from SDN, because he deserves to be in our memory.

Dear Fans and Friends of Don S. Davis,

So many of you have been touched by not only the work and art of Don S. Davis, but by the man himself, who always took the time to be with you at the appearances he loved, that it is with a tremendous sense of loss I must share with you that Don passed away from a massive heart attack on Sunday morning, June 29th.

On behalf of his family and wife, Ruby, we thank you for your prayers and condolences. A family memorial where Don's ashes will be scattered in the ocean will take place in a few weeks, and should you wish to, please make a donation to the American Heart Association in Don's memory.

This is horrible. I loved him in Stargate, and in the interviews I've read with him he came across as a charming, intelligent man. And 65 is damn too young.

He will be missed.
As a massive fan of Stargate, I will miss him terribly. Having listened to him on a few rare behind the scenes commentary on selected episodes of the show, and seen a few interviews, he was an incredible guy.

As much as I like the activity... this does not belong in S&L

In his forum. And this is News (albeit on a SciFi topic).

And although I never got into the show, it sucks that he died relatively young.

No. You did not. You originally posted this in science and logic. And the activity mentioned was "Posting in my forum" which is a semi-rare event.

In any case, his primary character amused me, and I mourn his loss.
