#1 ST: Armada Question

Alright, I'm considering adding the Terran Empire to Armada. Basically I just need some advice on adding new races and any way to get their little "sword in the globe" to replace the Fed symbol in the status bar thingy.
Making the fleet is easy enough, since they use Fed designs, all I need to do is replace "USS" with "ISS".
