I recently bought a Pentium 1 laptop for $1. Sounds great, but there is a serious problem.
The hard drive is blank except for a minimal DOS install and the setup files from Win98 upgrade. So what is the problem?
The upgrade must detect a previous Windows install to continue. Normally, I would just stick my win95 cd in the drive, but this laptop has no floopy nor cd drive.
Anyone have any ideas on how I could bypass this? Keep in mind that this lappy is isolated from the world. I can't just download a crack.
I get a gnarley laptop - and get fucked

How old is this thing? Can you get an external CDROM? Network it to your primary computer?
Worst case senario: you're out a buck, no biggie, right? Or, just sell it to some other chump for $2, thus netting you double your money!
