Colin Witz, aka Yosemite Bear, passed away June 25, of heart failure.
At this time it's not known if this was related to his diabetes, to a spider bite he'd complained about, or other factors. His last posts on SDnet were Monday, first about finding the spider bite, and then about losing feeling in his arm. I can only hope he had called 911 either before or shortly after those posts.
