Item loss is virtually impossible. Meat rewards from PvP is slim and if they steal food or drink, chances are they'll get a tomato instead of Hell Ramen anyway.

You won't lose items if you have a meat golem.

Jeez. Is it just me, or does the Gnome Camp's little adventure area NEVER drop flanges? I've got dozens of other parts, including a clockwork key, but I can't get enough flanges to make good items. :/

Well, second HC run can use items you gain from the first, I though? It'd be helpful as hell to have your Stainless Steel PLUS all your old crap. :P

The signs only offer small, but different benefits. It's perfectly OK to use a musclehead with a moxie sign and so on. Us hard-core ascended have problems with money and supplies, as we can't buy or sell. Anyone have an advice other than keep hitting the damned treasury? Because new skills are darn pricey, yes... as is that initial expendature to get craft kits.

Should I ascend? I'm level 13, and just finished the NS. Now, I'll probably stock up on a few items first while I'm still high level, but I'm thinking. Is Hardcore worth it? Especially Hardcore with one of the limitations? Your reward from a hardcore with limit is like... 3 peices of super food/drin...

You'll probably need about 50 or 60 HP. Try using Boris's rings instead of Shinies. Vorpal should do it fine... if you can't manage those stats, get a few buff items like Phonics downs.
