They completely defeat the purpose of an awning. What happened to functionality? It's just like the shutters in this co...

No, I believe that's the maximum a Rear Admiral can command without penalty. I'm assuming you're referring to the red letters the number of units appears in when you're over command limit, so if you get an admiral with higher rank (or promote the one you have, just click on his picture for both), yo...

In a recent Rifts game: Me: "Okay, it's a white box marked "Tootsie Rolls. US Army, manu. 1942." Player 1: "I'm going to eat the tootsie rolls." Player 2: "No, wait, I'm going to fight you for them." Player 3 (who's driving the truck the first two are in the back of): "I'm going to cast Befuddle on ...

I'd thought Putin is quite popular in Russia, especially due to the economic growth that's come under his administration. At least that's what I'd gotten from the BBC, though admittedly I was mostly looking for articles supporting that. Is there any data on Putin and Chavez's relative approval ratin...

People laughed at that? My theater was grimacing. My two favorite scenes were when Mathis gets bitchslapped by the CIA (MI6? I thought they were CIA, given Leiter's quote about them taking out Le Chiffre in the morning), and when Bond kneecaps White with the MP5. That was one of the things we had pl...

US High-Speed Rail
USA Today HARRISBURG, Pa. — Denny Spicher, a risk management consultant, wants to love the new high-speed electric train that started this week between here and Philadelphia. After his first ride Wednesday, however, he reluctantly reports that the train rode a lot like the rickety old diesel trai...

So I heard the North Koreans threatened to attack with nukes if the US didn't talk to them, and the first thing that runs my mind is: You're going to attack us with your nukes that don't go off properly, and which won't fit on the missiles you can't get across the Sea of Japan. Right . Do they have ...
